Love this productions set, costumes and performers but dear lord all of their musical numbers have such a slow tempo compared to the original broadway show and any other touring/community production out there. They definitely shouldve picked it up a bit. But that's really my only complaint.

Well Americans talk and sing faster than the British so that is probably why it is slower. I am British and actually saw this and i agree the sets and costumes are amazing. But obviously with the original Broadway cast u have to remember that the show may have been written or adapted to them in mind as the British this never happened

They are singing an American song and in American which isnt normal for them and not natural

The US version was way too fast. Plus they have to do American accents which just makes it harder.
