You are an amazing teacher! You make me remember my friend Pablo who "didn't know" music, yet teachers in academies we used to visit just for fun would be speechless after watching him play the piano, or guitar. They would tell him; "we can teach you proper technique, but music... Well... You can probably teach us..." 😆 Pablo was able to recreate other instruments - like percussion - in the guitar WHILE playing a melody. I'm sure you do know it as well. Plablo ended up teaching me, just the way you do it, and poor Pablo was very, very patient with me. I never came anywhere near his skill and knowledge, but got to play for a while in some venues with public. Low profile venues of course, but it was fun. But what I really enjoyed was to play amongst musicians. Love you man. And keep it up,l. You're brilliant!

One aspect of this lesson that I really like is the separation and development of the bass lines. This is incredibly helpful. Keep up the good work.

I have less than 48 hours to get this tune under my fingers. We're doing it this weekend. I came to KZbin and hit the lottery with this video. Thank You so much! Not a tricky tune by any means but this fingering gets it done well enough for what we need. And you're right about Jobim. Such beauty in simplicity.
