I say *"Ijime, Dame, Zettai"* (Bullying, Don't do it, Never ever) live at the Sonisphere Festival in 2014. Really good song with an important message and an epic performance on top! kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKCQkJaYm8mlj6c

"Rondo of Nightmare" live at Budokan 2014 (it's on KZbin, the 7 min video). You'll see Babymetal's backing band, the Kami Band. If you like solos, you may enjoy this live performance :)

Great reaction. 'Karate' was the lead single from the second album. It is about fighting adversity, when life knocks you down and everything seems too hard so you're hurt and crying, its about standing up and fighting on, helping each other through the hard times. In the video the figures in white were the girls all along and they were conjuring up their own inner demons to fight against. They beat the first, the second knocked them down but they got up to eventually defeat themselves (well done spotting when the masks shattered and it was revealed as them - not everybody sees that). They used karate to illustrate this as it is a Japanese martial art and reflects their culture - it also has no backward moves. They did watch a lot of martial arts movies to get ideas for the choreo as they wanted it to look as authentic as possible. Moa catching the fly was a nod to Mr Miyagi in The Karate Kid. Moa let the fly go, Mr Miyagi killed his. I'd say 'Headbanger' live at Legend 1997 next.

That's 2 for 2. Karate was one of the songs that got me hooked. Next up has got to be "Headbanger" from "Legend of 1997". One of my favourite live performances of theirs. It shows off all of the best aspects of their live performances really well, and is also historically one of the most copyright-safe videos.

The Karate video is about overcoming your inner demons, "if you are knocked down and too sad to get up, fight on" I wouldn't do Babymetal Death yet; I would do Ijime Dame Zettai, or Headbanger, a live version either way. They are better in front of an audience.

KARATE is one of their radio friendly songs. with Babymetal as Su-Metal said " Don't Think , Feel " , it's better not knowing or read subtitle of their songs for your first reaction.

Each BabyMetal Fans has their own favorite, but we love all their songs. Just shout out whichever is you like the best. No worries. "Karate" premiered at Yokohama Arena on December 12, 2015. Directed by Daisuke Ninomiya, the music video for "Karate" was released on 18 March 2016. Moa Metal explained that the lyrics are about never giving up and always moving forward, no matter what difficulties need to be endured. Furthermore, Yui Metal described how the dance moves were made to help express the message of the song, as most of the lyrics were in Japanese. Moa Metal expressed that "Karate" is her favorite song in the 2nd album, explaining how "karate has a courtesy: "Start with a bow and end with a bow." This is something important we value in our lives, because we never forget courtesy and a feeling of gratitude wherever we go." Su Metal described the white figures in the video as representing their former selves, expressing the desire to break down barriers by fighting themselves to move forward. Moa Metal added that "karate is obviously a form of martial arts that originated from Japan, so it’s something that she’s very proud of that they are now representing this culture that came from Japan through their music, and it’s a way for more people outside of Japan also to learn what karate is all about."

There are so many great things about BABYMETAL‘s songs and performances, but in the end the most important one is simply that the songs are great. Karate is a good example, it‘s heavy, melodic, playful, and the chorus just sticks in your ear. By the third one you can’t help but move your head to it. The best is yet to come, and that’s seeing a live performance. I recommend checking out „Pa Pa Ya“, it’s from their latest album and shows the insane live energy: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pYCaimuEqNOeiMk

Ijime Dame Zettai live from Sonisphere. That performance legitimized Babymetal to metal fans in the West. It was their 1st big gig outside Japan in front of an audience of disbelievers.

'Headbanger' Live at Legend 1997 would be great as the next reaction. You'll get to see how great of a singer Su is live as well as some theatrics here and there. Also, with Babymetal we just gotta feel the songs cause we don't understand Japanese. Checking out lyrics later usually adds meaning and emotion to the song, but not understanding initially isn't bad.

Cool reaction. Next, try to go with Live versions. They are heavier, and you can better appreciate the band, Su's talent and the choreo. Headbanger Legend 1997 or Budokan would be great choices.

Karate surely is one of the most polarizing songs they have. For me it is surely in their worst10 rank of songs, but it looks like a lot of people likes it. It seems you only get into it if you are into that progressive rock/metal thing.

@@djentleeReacts well, this was especially true at Download 2016. It was kind of a big deal among the more core Babymetal fans. Babymetal mainstage first time (pretty much first time at the festival, Babymetal had a guest appearance with Dragonforce) and even though a lot of rain (even more than what is usual for Download), everyone remained there, very few people left. Showing us the interested of the UK public of Babymetal is pretty darn big. More than just some infatuation.

Of course, I was lucky enough to see them when they had the guest appearance with Dragonforce, they came out for the encore Through The Fire & Flames which was pretty cool. I’m hoping there will be another chance to see them soon (or at least when we’re past COVID)

Great video man! Could you react to Ijime Dame Zettai Live at Sonisphere 2014? In this performance, they turned 40,000 (not sure) skeptical and hostile metalheads that were known to throw things at bands they didn't like into BM fans. This is one of the reasons why you should react to their live performance besides having a better vocals than the studio version. One more advantage is your video will be a lot safer with their live performances as most of them are not from the official BM channel. Remember to stay away from live compilations as these may mislead you. Keep this in mind then youre good to go. Catch you at the foxhole!
