It's probably my favorite video game in a while. I love how peaceful and slow it is. I also like that it doesn't take the endless quest model of WoW so that you can really explore everything on your own and at your own pace. I have legit only played this game for like 2 hours and completely enjoy the experience and then set it down for a week or two and then come back and still really enjoy it. I like that it doesn't suck my soul.

A shame they don't really update their game much. There should be five chapters and after all those years, we haven't reached chapter one. Also I really dislike you are forced to play online. The game looks amazing, the soundtrack is top notch but I wish they work towards getting the game out of EA. We all know those games who stay EA for too long and end up staying like that forever.

We can see that the online multiplayer will force prices to go up too. The game is pretty fun to play alone but we ran into so many endeavors that required a group - grouping up would be fun if we were to replay this

The developers have created something really special here, and even though they continue developing it it's basically a flop. As far behind schedule as it was when they released it and even though they delayed it multiple times, it still was not release ready when they finally did and still to this day it has myriad network issues that make trying to play it an exercise in frustration and only single digit player counts. And the one guy in the community that's been honest and objective about what's going on with the game got publicly ripped a new one by the M&D COO for it. Not going to lie, I lost a lot of respect for the studio when that happened because the guy was dead right in the things he was saying and even backed it all up with developer road maps, quotes and various community posts. You can still find this in one of the locked threads on the game's Steam forum and that person ought to be ashamed of himself.

That COO response was probably the worst reaction Ive ever seen by a game company in my 40 years on this planet. The amount of narcissism and ego for effectively no reason (he claims he has all of these accolades, but isn't allowed to disclose any of them) What an embarrassment. Any will I had to play this game went down the drain when I read that response.

@@lockekappa500 I think the reason was because he knows the game is a flop. The fate of the studio may hang in the balance and the stress is high. He viewed that person as a sort of ally who turned on them and couldn't deny anything he said because he had all the receipts when he said it, so he went after him personally. It's probably the worst response I've ever seen, too. If it's not, it's second only to Simon Dean saying his crappy perpetually broken game (Folk Tale) didn't deserve the poor player rating even though it was still in alpha three years after he said he'd be finished with it, that the only reason people wrote negative reviews was because they wanted it to fail and that if they didn't give him more positive reviews to improve the rating he was going to abandon it. The backlash to this post generated so many additional negative reviews that the rating fell even further and a couple months later he made good on his threat to abandon the game.

@@Im_With_Stupid Interesting, kind of what happened to Starfield on Steam also. It's at 30% positive rating because they tried to hard to tell people their negative reviews weren't valid. It's marketing 101. Never tell people they're wrong, or they'll double down on what they initially said, and others will join them.
