I was wondering about how easy it is for Scripps students to get enrolled into classes at the other colleges such as Pamona. I’ve read several comments on Niche that it can be difficult to get into cross-campus classes because students at the other colleges take priority. I also saw some comments that it can be tough to secure housing because of the high demand and lack of availability. Did you have any issues like this at Scripps? I think my daughter would enjoy this school since she plans to major in Art History and I like what I’ve seen in the Scripps and Pamona programs. I greatly appreciate any insight you could offer. Thanks

Hey! Thanks for commenting and your questions. When I was at Scripps, it was definitely easier to enroll in classes at other colleges and I didn't have any issues securing housing (I'm not too sure how it is now...I'm sure it also depends on the type of classes and demand for the class). Back then when I was there, we were advised to email the professor and then sit in the class the first day to try to get into off-campus courses! This is something that you could also ask your academic advisor (if you end up at Scripps) about too. I've heard really great things about art history at Scripps and Pomona College! Hopefully this helps and feel free to ask more questions if you have them!
