My grandfather owned a cabin here for about 10 years and as a kid going there from Vegas was like a portal to a whole other world. Wildlife, snow, big trees, isolation. It was pretty awesome and I think that cabin helped mold my infatuation of the outdoors.

📸You've captured the natural wonder of this park so well, Mike! It looks like paradise for anyone that loves hiking, backpacking, off-the-beaten-path camping, etc. 🏕That's crazy about the elk coming through at 5:12! 😱😆 Yes, definitely one of Arizona's top "hidden gem" spots. Thanks for giving us the tour!

Love this Mike!! It reminds me of the mountain camping trips my parents took me on as a kid. ❄The snow scenes are my favorite, and what a treat that you got a visit from "the locals." 😉(Although it was a little rude of them to invite themselves to dinner! 🤣)

Aw...thank you! So glad you enjoyed. Love when videos, movies, shows can take us back to our childhood. Haha...yes, those "locals" were funny. I had no idea what the sound was that I was hearing until they got right up to my campsite. Really startled me at first. Thanks again for watching, hope you'll check out some of my other videos. Cheers, Mike
