Maybe it's just me, but it's so nice to see pantographs being used with catenary. It just looks so much better seeing it slide along like the real thing 😀

Agreed. Never looks right seeing electric locos running under wires with their pantographs down - or up, but not quite physically making contact with the wires. Surely if one is going to the trouble (and expense) of properly modelling the catenary, then the pantographs should at least make contact with it - whether or not it's actually collecting current too. ;-)

This has some of the most realistic starts and stops I have seen. Only thing missing were the sparks. I do question the curves though, seems a bit sharper than should be, but space is always a premium so can't be perfect.

what would be an amusing thing to put in a lay out is a camera person with camera and a van you could place nearby with something like say Media Corp with a satellite dish on top which can be folded in or out, amusing for people who build these and film their respective lay outs

Lamentablemente aca en Santiago, lo ferromodelistas que hay al parecer les gusta permanecer en secreto, más que dar a conocer, sus maquetas y mientras esto siga así el aporte a la difusión de este hobby en nuestro país será nula !. Hay un Club en alguna parte del Parque Bustamante, pero es imposible encontrar información sobre él como para poder hacerles una visita. Según he sabido, solamente aceptan aficionados que sean llevados alli por otro miembros de ese club, lo cual lo convierte en un *círculo cerrado imposible de acceder para un modelista común y corriente* como somos la gran mayoría en este hermoso hobby. *Es una pena pero es la realidad aqui en Santiago* Por lo menos, eso parece. Slds.
