I use 12" square foam sheets from office depot that I buy when they are on sale - they come in boxes of 100. I wrap the dishes right after listing in the foam and one bubble layer before storing so they are nearly ready for shipping and won't get damaged. I see other sellers recommending foam picnic plates which might work for smaller plates but might not be big enough for full size ceramic dinner plates. I store in sturdy cardboard boxes by pattern.

Excellent score on the Franciscan Earthenware with the Echo pattern! My hubs nearly passed out at the $15 price for all of it! We lucked out last month! We were at the Antique Mall on a Sunday and heard one of the vendors yelling, "Fill a box for $25!" We went over and looked to see what he had. We loaded 2 Large Lowes moving boxes (he had bought new boxes for people to fill) for $50 and we put every piece of Franciscan ware that he had! 😂😂 He had 2 large booths and was liquidating both of them! 😂 Sadly, we never made it to the 2nd booth. styrofoam paper plates in between your dishes are an easy way to stack them to prevent scratching :) That was an insane buy!

YES! Wrapping w the cling wrap also creates a tight fit and prevents shifting, treating 4 plates as a one

Stacking Dishes: some sellers buy packs of different size paper/styrofoam disposable plates and use them as separators. They do a good job to stack and separate without adding a lot of height, can be reused and don’t cost a lot.

@@christyallen4219 Yes, I have seen other sellers use them effectively. Some even use them to ship with, sticking one above the stack, one below and separating each plate with anotherf, then using saran wrap to make the bundle before adding the bubblewrap.

I put dollar store foam plates (like Dixie) between each plate and it works well. If it is cups I put the traditional moving foam on rolls but the rigid plates work better for the plates.

Candice, the moon shaped plate/bowl is a bone dish. Back in the day they would nestle up along side the dinner plate for fish or other bones. If you Google "bone dish" there are some good comps.

those build a bears were a steal! the hello kittys do super well, usually over $50 without the bow! the pumpkin bear is a super good one as well. If you have any hello kitty / sanrio build a bear clothes in there, definitely look them up, they go for crazy money!

Superb pick ups! My favorite item was the wooden music box skaters. The mechanism is stripped and will need a rewinding/repair. Here locally I have taken mine to old time clock repair shops or individuals and they can work on them. The insides are similar in some cases.

Great vid guys! I've sold empty tool boxes in the past and they sell well. Even the rusty ones sell fast, I guess people like the vintage look. Kennedy brand tool boxes sell the best and for more money.

Awesome Haul - all great Ebay candidates. if selling the plates in lots, You can try a placing a piece of tissue paper / cardboard in between each , and saran wrapping the stack. I then place an alphanumeric label on each to help identify when they sell. The Saran Wrap will keep them dust free , and easy to maneuver if you need to pull an item located behind them

You have such an advantage in the South with an extended yard sale season, in the Northeast we probably won't have garage sale for atleast another month. Still just relying on estate sales, until the yard sales start.

Short Boxes - If comics are bagged and boarded normal sized comics typically it's 125 to 150 comics in a short box - If the comics are not bagged and boarded (bunch of savages) they can fit 175 to 200 depending on the common size of the comics - Great find I would have loved to go and sort these. I find bagging and boarding comics is relaxing. Low Grade is better than No Grade. I can smell of those old comics through the PC - Always be hunting...

Wow! Seeing the Archie and Richie Rich comic books sure brought back a lot of childhood memories. I'm going to give away my age here...😂 Back in the day, you had to pay to go to kindergarten and my family couldn't afford it. I learned to read before 1st grade reading Archie, Richie Rich, Little Lulu and Casper comic books. There was a little red store down from our house that sold used comics for a penny each. I remember having a bunch of them and I would read them over and over. Wish I still had them.....😂 Ya'll had some great finds! I'm ready to go to some yard sales. Hopefully ours start up soon. I do sell dishes. I usually wrap each piece in bubble wrap and then label it with the SKU and put it in a box. I have an entire shelf with breakables that are stored this way. It takes a little digging when pulling the order but it works. I had one "bone plate" with this pattern on it one time but it was completely wrecked. Someone had used it as a screw holding plate in a garage. It wasn't sellable. You guys got a deal!

maybe everytime you list a set of dishes you can wrap and box up as if to ship and label box. seperate from each other shelve to make it easy to pick and not stacked on top of each other as it will be heavy

Candace, try using disinfectant wipes to clean the dishes. They work great. Clean cotton dish towel to wipe dry if needed. Love the daily videos so much better.. Buy a silver marker for the poster ends on the blue tape. Works great. Keep up with the good job you both do! Great Grandma Smith from SW Kansas.

Storage will depend on how you’re selling them, which I imagine is single pieces. Foam plates (the kind in the aisle with the paper plates) and then I’d use your plastic roll to roll them together. Then all Lonnie has to do is add bubble wrap to pack. Hat boxes might work because they are round

If you have to ship a poster or painting in a frame use cut up pool noodles from dollar tree on th he corners. Those around the frame and a very sturdy box

Craftsman & other Old Tool Brands: watch for Made in the USA markings. Craftsman, like many brands started out sourcing their tools, so as you sort try to separate the Made in the USA pieces, since those lots do better.

I sell dishes. I use foam plates as dividers for in between my plates. Those moon shaped plates are "bone" dishes.....used for chicken, or fish bones....they are for discarding. ❤

Old craftsmen is good (like Sears Craftsmen), the new stuff is made in China junk for the most part. When Sears sold the brand the quality fell off a cliff.
