There isn't much fall to the land ,The channel really needs to be deeper and maintained cleaner ,the smart thing would be for the farmers to get together and have the channels dredged then keep them clean ,to keep from flooding their fields which would increase their crop yields ,The drone video shows How much acreage is lost to flooding because of the shallow channels

You have a beautiful landscape. Actually I like the beaver´s work because it helps retain water in hot days (wich we will get more of) but I also see when You have (maybe) too much of the good stuff. So I am onboard with Your kind of care, please don´t hunt them beavers to extingtion, they do an important job. But keeping an eye out and gentle regulation (what You do) is okay for me. I think there´s a middle ground between farming and beaver dams.

Good work there. Now you're trying to engineer collapses (and a father!) please wear a flotation device; you need some insurance in case of an unexpected collapse.

Another good video! Love the drone shots. For your benefit, English is a difficult language to learn. For example, we could say that was a 5 foot high dam or we could say the dam was 5 feet high! It means the same. When you put the height across the screen, proper English is to write 5 feet. The width would also be written in a plural measurement, such as 30 metres. It was a 30 metre wide dam. It had a width of 30 metres. In the U.S. they would write meter and meters. In Canada, though both are accepted, metre is more common I believe because of the French and/or the British influence.

Easy Peasey today eh. The culprits might have been Asian beavers that build wide gigantic dams that collapse easily. I enjoyed the drone flight, so Roberta must be doing that along with the editing now😊. Only one real comment. I am ancient so it is hard to locate the dam on the drone flights sometimes especially if you are not parked nearby. Shoot fireworks, flags, dancing clowns or a big blue arrow to indicate the removed dam. Do the farmers have a way to bring in soil to build up the water filled low spots, like from construction sites and canal clearing?
