my first gun was a arcturus nyo6. shoots amazing and sounds great to shoot, and it set the bar high when i found out not every gun can run an 11.1v out the box. my second gun was the pp19 ztac by the same company, so i think that makes me an arcturus fan lol

Got my Arcturus about 5 days ago in tokyo, got back to the US and its snappy AF. Got the pdw and it came with grips for bigger hands which helped with finding the gun with thicker gloves its awesome. You can tell they care about you and the product.

As someone who started airsoft only a year ago I wish I picked this as my first gun. I got a ICS MP5, it's great, it's beautiful but it also set me back 400 bucks. Which really put me in a tight spot for the rest of my gear.

My first aeg was a full metal arcturus ar01cq. Ive upgraded it with arcturus 13:1 geard and a high torque 21tpa neodymium motor

Your videos have been extremely helpful. This review is so well done. I've narrowed it down to an Arcturus M4. Im curious if you think I should for this guys at $165 (in that slick grey.) Or spend a little more and go for the Arcturus Sword Lite ME Mod1 for $60 more at $225? I do like the fact that it has a metal handguard. Although I like how this one is grey and separates itself from the sea of black M4's. If you think the extra cash is worth it. What exactly makes you think that performance wise? Hopefully you see this (or someone more educated than myself about airsoft in the comments.) But either way keep making great videos and thorough reviews man.

Honestly I’d go with this only because a metal handguard won’t be leaps and bounds better than the polymer one even if you’re clumsy. The extra cash can be sent on some better gear so you’re more comfortable on the field. Performance wise, I can’t speak for the Sword Lite so I’d say compare the performance you see in other people’s videos to the performance you see in this video to see if one significantly outcompetes the other.

@@USAirsoft appreciate the insight! I was moreso into the metal handguard because of the way it would feel. But thinking more about it, I would be wearing gloves anyway so probably very little difference lol. Yeah no doubt I'll see if there's anything else that really differentiates them. But I do like the savings since I'm planning to pickup some decent quality accessories (chest rig, Valhalla mask, extra mags, etc.) I mean I could afford a much more expensive setup but I don't feel it's necessary. Yet at least lol. Used to play tournament paintball a lot on a sponsored team growing up. Quit for years and had a short stint with airsoft like 5 years ago. Decided to get back into it. Went to a CQB field a week ago with some buddies with rentals and had a blast. Definitely getting into it more this time. Hell, might even checkout a milsim event somewhere down the line, sounds fun. Again, appreciate it man. Your videos along with others have been very helpful in getting me back up to speed 🤙

I prefer the Mod 1 LE version. Straight trigger, Arcturus amazing mid cap and the rail is metal and the polymer body is reinforced with steel

Would you recommend this Arcturus for a MilSim event. Going to attend first MilSim with DesertFox. I'm still a noob airsofter and have a GBB Radian, but think AEG is more practical for MilSim

Thats actually a pretty good deal especially for what you get for as a beginner. I'd say the next other budget friendly gun would be a Cyma Platinum. You can literally get one for like $200 on Taiwangun right now (not including shipping). Doesn't come with a battery though.

I’m having trouble trying to see if my outer barrel can be detached. I bought the MK-I CQB from evike but it wasn’t the LWT model. The barrel shares the same line where it appears the barrels can come apart but I’m having no luck :/

tbh, I like the polymer rails. If the gun is decently solid internally, I like all the lightweight plastic for those long days when you want to take it easy.

Super easy to take off, just a grub screw with very little glue. Could’ve unscrewed it from the threads with my bare hands if I had the grip.

The fact that beginner guns are getting cheaper and better instead of actually more expensive is awesome. With real steel i remember 10 years ago a beginner AR was around 400 usd. If you wanted high quality it was 700-800 bucks. If you wanted super high quality gucci rifles you had 1000-1500ish guns. Now, the 400 usd guns cost 800, the good enough high quality ones cost 1500s and gucci ARs are 2000+ some times. Not because the materials are more expensive, just because the market went into a 'dont be poor boi' type of mindset so a 500ish gun became a poor people gun.

I have an Arcturus AK-12 with the Perun mosfet and it's amazing. That being said, of all the AEGs I have there's only one of them that has performed flawless since I've bought it. It's the oldest of my AEGs, which is my Gen 3 Lancer. No feeding issues, no battery issues, very consistent and reliable. People are so easy to dog on cheaper guns just because it isn't rocking the newest and best internals, and yet these cheaper guns just become more reliable and affordable than some of the more high end ones. Even the first time I fielded my AK-12 I was having some issues, it doesn't have a flawless track record on it. Sometimes just having a decent M4 that works can be better than having a great anything else that has more possibility for failing parts, especially for beginners

If you’re playing at a field I’d suggest you save your money and go with a primary first. The $130-$200 you might spend on a sidearm can go towards some really good eye protection or basic tactical gear.
