One of the Best Luggage! Eddie Bauer Expedition 34 Rolling Duffel 😊🧳

I purchased and received my new Eddie Bauer Expedition 34 Rolling Duffel Bag (luggage). I bought this luggage through Eddiebauer.ca (Canadian website). It is the 'Thyme' colour and is very rugged in its construction.
Date = February 27, 2023.

Through the use of the bag on my travels!! I’ve used it numerous times now, and I’ve also had similar Eddie Bauer luggage in the past.

thanks for the great video. whats the depth of the bottom compartment?

The depth of the outer shell is about 3 inches. The upper compartment fabric is loose and touches the bottom of the shell. If one chose to do so, the lower compartment could store things that are more than 3 inches high. This would however reduce the storage room in the upper compartment.

@@kennethaiori Thank you for your quick response! I watched the video after I saw your comment. Yes, as you described, the separator is not like a "lid" but it is like a bag. The shell did seem to look a little more deeper than 6 in. Thanks again!

another question: I saw some reviews complaining about lock. I assume the top lid and the one between the lower shell and upper compartment should be lockable. Correct?

Just bought one for a trip. So, how do you lock it? There doesn't seen to be a way to lock the zippers together. Any suggestions?

My bag has zippers with holes that allow for a small lock to be inserted when the zippers are closed.

No it is not. It’s accepted as a normal checked suitcase - NOT oversized.

I've a EB duffel bag 34 expedition with a broken wheel. EB customer service provided no information on how I could get it repaired, even after telling them that I wanted to do it myself (repair). Do you have any suggestions?

Sorry - I'm not a representative for EB - I'm just a customer like yourself. I'm assuming that you've owned the bag for a while and it's no longer under warranty. if it is a relatively new purchase, I'd go to a store and plead your case for a replacement/repair. If your bag is older, and you're relatively handy, I would imagine that replacing the wheels with something like rollerblade wheels may work. Good luck.

Thx. Bag is about 3 yrs old. I like it very much and it's very good quality. Just happened to roller it over some cobblestones in Europe this last Summer. Am a bit surprise the EB people couldn't provide any insights to what should be a common occurrence. Regardless I'll fix it myself. Again, thx for your input.
