I love their hot rice and curries which always has a small flame keeping it hot. Ayam goreng and kari ayam are my favorites!

@@pishedbloke need to revisit them soon and try out their nasi kandar again. Anyway I passed by raffee a couple of months ago on a saturday evening after window shopping at gurney Plaza. Thought of dropping by to eat there but seeing the queue was very long (probably around 30ish), had to cancel the plan. Can't wait that long plus parking also hard to come by.

@@WanderingMunchers adoi, weekend usually long queues lah...same for Deen Maju. There's another nasi kandar along Dato Kramat called Sulaiman NK which only opens for breakfast and lunch which is also pretty good and the prices are lower! Mostly locals eating there at the moment hahahaha 😁

@@pishedbloke yeah I've been to sulaiman twice. I passed by sulaiman everyday after sending and picking up daughter from school, long queue at lunchtime, plus traffic really bad at rush hour. I went to sulaiman early this year (2nd time) but at 6:45am when they just opened, that's the only time i can avoid queue and get parking easy. Crazy queue now since the place had gone viral the past couple of years.

If the food is not sold on the day it is cooked. How long do they keep selling the same food or is it cooked fresh everyday.

At Mohd Raffee it is cooked a few times daily, because they are not a 24 hour restaurant. I have seen them cook new batches of chicken and bring it out to the front every few hours.
