I'd be impressed if Belichick got this squad to the playoffs. They lost a lot of coaches in a short period of time. Last year, the Pats lost their defensive coordinator (Brian Flores), defensive line coach (Brendan Daly), cornerbacks coach (Josh Boyer), receivers coach (Chad O'Shea), quarterbacks coach (Jerry Schuplinski), and first choice for new DC (Greg Schiano). And this year they've lost their special teams/receivers coach (Joe Judge), offensive line coach (Dante Scarnecchia), and defensive line coach (Bret Bielema). Some of those guys had been with the Patriots for the better part of a decade. There's also so many unknowns. How good is Stidham? Is David Andrews coming back? How good is Nkeal Harry and Michel? Who's playing Tight End? Are Edelman and Hightower durable enough to play another full season? Is Belichick going to have a good draft or another mediocre to bad one?
