One of the best things about working as an artist

Finding your way and developing ideas into art is a surprisingly different activity.

I agree, I get bored easily, and it prevents me from being as consistent. But like you said, you can change things up if you choose to when you work for yourself.

surviving, energy conservation, comfort..these dictate everything the mass does. Taking time to celebrate the subtle is becoming rare but thus more valuable, as value is often determined by contrast and rarity.

As an amateur artist, whenever I feel as you feel at times, I go out for a nature walk with my dogs, enjoying all nature around me. When I return, I feel like I’ve recharged my way of thinking, where I can resume to paint with a new purpose. Do you have similar thoughts and feelings? Do you have another hobby to take a break from built in frustrations?
