Joseph Prager Some of Thich Nhat Hanh’s talks are on the Insight Timer app. One of them is a response to a question about dealing with regrets. There’s a long pause before the response, “As human beings we all make mistakes,” and it’s such a simple truth, we hear that all the time, usually in a way that dismisses, but I have never heard the phrase said with such a deep compassion as Thich said it.
