The iconic daal is a mix of daal mash, masoor daal and channa daal. Its mashed up and its the local desi ghee that gives its taste. There is not a lot too it but the simple formula creates the sucess. I visited this very place a few years ago in summer and i was drentched in sweat but had to eat the daal and fresh rotis in my way to lahore.

Remember the original. Whenever you hit GT road just past kharian, it was a must to losd up with a light lunch for the drive to lahore or Islamabad. Daihatsu charade mk 1 diesel with only 1 speaker. Fuel was around 15 pkr per litre. Mid 90s, those were the days 😊

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him)reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, “The five daily (prescribed) Salah, and Friday (prayer) to the next Friday (prayer), and the fasting of Ramadan to the next Ramadan, is expiation of the sins committed in between them, so long as major sins are avoided”. (Muslim) One lesson we learn from this Hadith is good actions mentioned in it are means of forgiveness of sins but only if one saves oneself from major sins. Thus, it is abundantly clear that the sins which are pardoned through these good actions are minor sins. Major sins will not be forgiven by means of Salah and Saum (fasting). Sincere repentance for them is indispensable.

What a waste without mention of proper location. Near Gujrat or near Jhelum do not help in present time. Viewer will spend time in watching whole video in case location comes up but disappointment.
