Poor Otis. Seems like the door operator is having trouble figuring out where the door is. They may be able to fix that by adjusting it or replacing a sensor.

They replaced the call buttons with key switches. Is this happening to elevators in all schools (except colleges)?

Most likely not all schools. My public school did it though. Except for one elevator… The college I’m at is definitely not keying off theirs though (thank god). Too many stairs to traverse and lots of walking.

Both elevators are the same, so the same keys work on both elevators.
