Women hit with a lot of power like the men. But if women played their equal male counterpart they would lose every time because of the foot speed difference in getting to balls at the kitchen or baseline. This just showed a few points where the women did very well.

Tennis players' comments used to be quite entertaining to me, reminding me of what it must feel like for tennis players seeing a young sport that is clearly inferior (in their minds) attract so many more new people to it than Tennis. Now though, the pathetic comments just make me sad. I want all sports to do well and everyone to just be happy with what they play. And yet all the jealousy and hatred toward Pickleball does is only negative to the people who feel those emotions.

MLP uses rally scoring which means either side can win a point regardless of who serves. Games are to 21 points and if one team wins 3 games they win the match. But if tied 2-2 like this one, they do a tie-breaker called a Dreambreaker where it's all singles, 4 points at a time, until one team gets to 21 points, win by two. Very entertaining and makes watching regular pickleball tournaments seem boring by comparison.

What I don't understand about this sport is why players tend to backhand with two hands when it seems that it is not a very heavy ball.

Actually, it's because all kids, when young enough, are taught to use two hands because the racquet is too heavy for them. But they are supposed to later be taught to start only using the one hand because it's advantageous for increasing reach and swing speed. If they use two hands it's always because they have been playing since they were babies and never stopped being one.

I love the dreambreaker. I don’t understand all the rules. 4 players vs 4 players. Each team makes their own lineup. I serve 2 you serve 2 pts and then rotate. What do you play to? I know you have to win by 2.

The constant driving the ball within arms reach the poor court management and inability to understand when you need to try and play to neutral until you can gain an advantage after you've lost it? I guess that's the difference in the levels of success with pro's! and rec players!
