I don't know why lately I've noticed (as a music producer and a bowler of over 30 years) that every strike or even a spare, the sound of the ball hitting the pins are on time with the beat. That's awesome editing!!! A few times it was off but for the most part, the pin action with the beat is on point. For some reason, that's all I focus on 🤣🤣🤣. Great job!!!

The ones you hate losing the most are when your opponent has 10 boards of miss room and just touching the headpin is a strike
@donkeydiehard8792 жыл бұрын
No sense in worrying about what other people are doing or not doing. There's literally nothing you can do about that so why lose your head over it?🤷 Especially on house shot it's pointless.

@@GingyNinjyy what happens when you obsessively throw reactive
@donkeydiehard8792 жыл бұрын
@@GingyNinjyy clearly someone who has little to no experience on sport patterns.🙄 Please have your center throw down 32 foot wolf and try to throw reactive the whole time, you'll be lucky to break 120. Every ball on the planet can strike with 10 boards of miss room on house shot. Free hook outside, free hold in. On sport shot you want a ball that hooks early and controls friction... Which is urethane. You have 2-3 boards of miss room at best and that's if the ball is thrown at the speed and necessary hand position.

2 things: Jesse, your videoing and editing skills have stepped up a notch and are amazing! Something I noticed is that Darren bowls better when he's having fun or has good competition. It just seems like when he is bowling someone that is close to the same caliber as him, he bowls well. Or if he's having fun and not thinking too much about what he needs to do and just executes, he bowls well. I look forward to the next video and wish you nothing but the best in the next tourney!

Man Jay had the entire lane. That was nuts. Threw so many different lines and all struck. He definitely bonused more. That's bowling sometimes. Jay was getting the carry and you weren't. Can't really knock Jay at all. That is just how bowling goes sometimes. Great finish Darren. More importantly, you stayed in it mentally even when down and it paid off. You have yourself a solid shot at winning the match even when it looked like it was close to over early on in the third game. I would call that a great tournament because you can put that in the bank for next time you are in that situation.

Man I feel you 150% with mental game. It's crazy. Mental game sucks because not scoring great and not scoring great because mental game sucks. Way to pull it back and dial in. That in itself is a mental strength. I'm sure all of this is stuff you know since you are one of the top bowlers in the world. Maybe a reminder will help though. Ron Clifton, one of Troup's coaches, gave great advice that helps me a ton: only use positive thinking. For example, Rather than thinking "why the fuq did I do this, this and that" say "ok I'll do this, this and that better this shot." Easier said than done but is definitely a practice. Thinking about past shots is a recipe for disaster. You left a 10 pin and said, "how did I leave 5," from the previous shot.
@hazalmohammed2 жыл бұрын
That light pocket 7-10 split looks really familiar to me. Don't know if that means that I'm getting better with my release or not, but it's utterly deflating. Also, propers to Jesse for the new music package and the sequencing of drops to strikes. It's not going unnoticed.
@95scTA2 жыл бұрын
Everytime I leave that it is because my ball goes to far down lane and breaks hard and late. Terrible angle and great possibility for a 7-10. It is that front to back window, the ball just goes too long before setting up. Hope that helps.

Can you do a video on what you physically need to do to bowl on 1:1, 2:1, 5:1, 8:1 patterns? I've been learning that on the lower ratio patterns that open projection angles is to your disadvantage.
@notonyourlife79392 жыл бұрын
Well that depends...the pattern ratio is only one piece of the puzzle. Length matters, too. The longer the pattern is, the farther inside you'll see everybody playing, and the more open their angles will be.
@runnerboy68862 жыл бұрын
@@notonyourlife7939 Not true. Longer pattern, more inside, typically, ratio will determine how much angle. Remember, lower ratio patterns have more even concentration of oil left to right. Flatter/lower ratio patterns have no or less defined friction left to right, as in, there's less to throw it to. Closed angles through the fronts controls the flattness off the end of the pattern. Add in ball and lane friction, you arrive at the ideal zone to play.
@notonyourlife79392 жыл бұрын
@@runnerboy6886 Well we'll just have to agree to disagree, then. The father left you are, the more you have to project the ball, which requires more open angles... past a certain point, there is no "playing straight" anymore.
