Thank you so much for posting this video. I found the road completely by accident while just driving randomly through the country, and I've been trying to find my way back there but had no idea what streets I was on. All I could remember was that it had a really tight curve, bordered a creek or riverbed, and had warnings that large trucks aren't allowed. I spent 4 hours this morning combing through google maps trying to retrace my route. Thanks to this video I finally found it again.

I rode motorcycles with 4 other riders in this area in 1970. We were camped in the meadow off Dominion road, explored the Cataract ruins. Spent nearly all summer living in the woods there. I still remember the roads you filmed and the hairpin turn was always a GAS. We would ride to Brampton and Toronto to bum spare change.

That is right! We had seen people park for photos all along the road. This time, they would like people to walk :)

Lived not far away in Erin ON. for several years in the 1970's My dog and I spent a lot of time in this area walking by ( and in ) the river and up river in Brimstone and Cataract . Was not as well known or crowded then , especially during the week . Of course the population of the GTA was not nearly what it is now .

It is a beautiful place - it is quiet crowded now from what even I saw first twelve years ago. Thank you for your comment :)

Great video. Can you tell me if there's absolutely anywhere to park and take photos?

Road side parking is available in some spots - but they are quiet often taken, so you may have to wait a little.

Why is roadside parking blocked? The town guys must be shortsighted and narrow minded mean guys. Let the people park and enjoy the beautiful fall colors.

People used to park, walk, and take photographs along the road. However, this year it seems to be different. Thank you for your comment :)

@@FoggWalker Oh, I wondered when that started. I just found the road by accident about a week ago, and it was a great drive. I'm assuming maybe too many people were driving up to take photos/go for a walk/ etc, and it was clogging up the road from all the parked cars?
