Hi Fern! Ang ganda ng bldg structure dapat i restore. Nakakahinayang kung hahayaan lng or gibain. Old town Manila na tourist spot where there are lots of history na dapat pagtuunan ng gobyerno na may pundo para ma irestore ang mga old bldgs.. Salamat ulit sa trip😍😍😍

brings back memories wayback late 80's to 90's..i worked in a dept store beside sta cruz church..employees entrance was just beside the church,so everyday for 8 yrs lagi kong nakikita yang view na yan..tas nung ikasal.ako dyan ang reception s moderna restaurant katabi rin lang ng arch ng ongpin..😍30yrs ko ng hindi nakikita ang place na yan thanks to you para ko na din syang nabalikan

If I may add, it is a shame that the structure of this building was so exploited by commercialism where they could have preserved it as a historical treasure. The windows obviously shows that the area is no longer safe with all those over welded terrace as a burglar deterrent. So sad!

@@kaKZbinro Iam not sure if my memory serves me right, it was from Monte De Piedad where my Lola sent me to cash the Check she gave me after I graduated from college, as her gift to me. Kaya memorable sakin ang building na ‘yan, not to mention my Lola always attend mass in Sta. Cruz and my father was the lead fire truck driver of that Fire Station in Ongpin under Captain Tantianco back in the 80’s up to the mid 90’s. Thanks for sharing Fern!
