I for one love the video style, its so much more honest amd relatable, once things get presented professionally things begin to feel staged and fake. My only complaint is you guys are just outside my area and I'd have loved a good resin drive makeover.

Just watching this video where you are doing a big driveway and you were talking about closing in part of the end of the drive this is what they call the service strip and is owned by the council when they adopt the road and sometimes they come along and they dig out your grass if you have put flowers or rockeries or grass onto that service strip You see this in every estate. My sister used to go around with different lads onto different estates and they were putting in a full footpaths and claiming back the service strips. I do like the tiger bites that you have got and also the digger with the new bucket has got quite a few things like this himself, but a lot of the things that he’s got is full size and dumpers one or two small ones

Far too many trolls online that are just not happy with anything they see… best just to ignore them, even though I know it’s hard sometimes. Meant to say Dave, you are obviously an inspiration to a lot of people, KZbinrs, tradesmen, your customers and your viewers and you are always taking on new staff and training them up - have you ever thought about doing some kind of training scheme or apprenticeships? You might be able to get funding to cover part of their wages, you have that extra space now and you are short staffed and busy - you could perhaps get some extra resource at reduced price and provide a service that seems to being lost now…

Nice gate Stevie. There's probably a bigger market for accessible gates than people realise. There's a marked increase in people using motorised personal transport (Mobility Scooters) as it has become more affordable. Mobile brew/comfort vehicle is a great idea. The attention to detail on the driveway is very impressive. It's surprising how much work is involved.

Good morning/ good afternoon D and J team ... Nice to see the crusher earning it's keep ...what a machine 😊 The L Shaped gate was a great idea 💡...nicely done too. Lovely truck mate,proper beast ....but as per whoever signs off the "general maintenance" and top ups obviously hasn't tried to do it .... A lot of people now work from home Steve ...'hybrid" working ...one or two days in office , the rest at home. Jane does it and finds it but for me being retired some days it's a bit noisy but so be it ....life is life pal ....could be a lot worse 😜😜😜 (I could be working !!). 😂 David those edging blocks look great...you make it look so easy pal .... Great video as always guys. I just wanted to pick up on something that Dave said regarding tick-tock. It is a vile and nasty place to be. Up until recently I was posting videos regarding the construction industry it is my passion. However, because I have a physical disability, I received tons of hate and abuse. I even had one person tell me that I should have never been born. It even made me consider ending my life because people made me feel that worthless. It is a vicious platform. I have started my own KZbin channel to hopefully teach people about construction and maybe even inspire people to join the industry. Thank you for highlighting the issue with tick-tock and keep up the great work!

I appreciate the thought process you guys give as to how the new install might affect the neighbors. I wished my neighbors contractor had thought about us when he butted a higher CONCRETED patio in for our neighbors resulting in water run off to our side and down effecting our basement which resulted in plaster damage and mold. our garages are under our back yards so you would have to see it to know what I am describing. Thank you for the awesome videos.

Hi Dave just a little tip for you to try when filling anything up from a gallon container like the washer fluid instead of pouring liquid out straight from container have container in your hands on its side and try topping up that way so your not pouring forward and get the Glug with air you get a smooth flow

Little tip for screen wash is to save the spout off an ad blu bottle they fit screen wash bottles perfect and re usable handy to keep in glove box

Can you have your drive draining onto a neighbours vegetation/ grass verge? There are some very odd boundary arrangements that are making your job more difficult. That’s really nice of you to sort out the broken downpipe for your customer

Big D - Stevie all the D&J family. I didn’t comment on this last week but feel the need to now. With ref to the negative comments. you guys are builders. I’ve watched you guys from day one. In my eyes every thing you turn out has always been spot on you and Stevie put over your skills hints and tricks in an amazing way. ( thanks to you guys you gave me enough skills to do my own 8 meter fence with out your hints and tips of of never if done it ) You all put out some amazing content it’s as it happens you even keeps the the bloopers in. Nice fence installation as per usual you should try putting the dirt in bags as you go as makes it easier at the end of the job to get the spoil out and keeps it tidy in the process bit akward when it’s wet but definitely saves the clearing up at the end good luck keep up the good work
