Merry Christmas, you will soon learn there are no rules really in Italy :-) Always get your ticket at pay booths otherwise it can be an expensive pain in the ass. Oh and ignore the horns when you take a millisecond extra at the booths and junctions, they don't mean it. Enjoy Italia!!!

you must have understood by now, in Italy usually you take a ticket when you get on a autostrada, and pay when you get off. But around towns it happens that you simply have to stop and pay a fixed toll. If you push the button assistance there is always someone helping you.

Sounds like a classic little stone that got stuck between the brake caliper and the brake disc. You can try and reverse the car with no delay when hearing that sound. Keep up the good work with the videos!

Normally steering wobble like that is the tracking ( Spur ). Any tyre garage can sort that in 10 minutes.

Another great immersive episode with some drama! As soon as I saw that Maree didn't pull a ticket, I knew that would be trouble. We have the same system here in USA of ticket and then pay for turnpikes if you don't have an electronic pass. Enjoy some quiet time together. Fröhliche Weihnachten!

Steering wobble; do the front tire(s) need to be balanced? When she’s going about 90-100 kph go along side and check to see if the tires are bouncing. Might as well check each one.

Cold tire temps should be checked/changed with tires cold, and unridden on for accuracy. (X) PSI after moving will actually be low if using the cold pressure number. (I don't know if Marc checked pressures before leaving and adjusted once near an air pump or if pressure at pump was checked after letting tires cool back down).

I did this exact route on a 250 auto Vespa in torrential rain. With all my luggage on the back there was no weight to steer the front. Luckily, the Italian lorry driver behind me took pity.

hey Marc that steering wheel shake in Jimmy could be a wheel balance, have a look around the front wheels for a sign of a weight missing...would be mark left where stuck on ....just a thought.

That jimney can go up any mountain as long as you keep the speed low. Don't try or expect to get up the mountain with 90kmh. my daughter did the same in het Daihatsu Cuore! just keep the gear low and make some rpm's. you will get there.

Steering wobble might be caused by mud stuck in the wheel on the inside. It would unbalance the wheel/tire and create vibration in the steering wheel. Or a tire that has lost a balancing weight. Generally, if a wheel is unbalance, the whole vehicle starts "vibrating" at a speed of about 80 to 90 km/h.
