Half Teochew on my mother's side, half hakka on my father's. I am proud of both my heritages and dialect groups! Teochew pride forever! My Teochew mother taught me how to plan ahead by growing money, my Hakka father taught me to survive. We should all be proud of our Chinese heritages / dialect groups! Always proud of my Teochew side!

I am a native Teochew, I can speak and listen Teochew at a native level but I can't understand Teochew Opera at all.
Singaporean Tiechewans speak Tiechewan mixed with lots of Hokkienese.
