この曲は東日本大震災がきっかけで作られた曲だけど、今のロシアとウクライナの状況にも当てはまると思う…。 Yesterday's night turns to light 昨日の暗闇は光に変わる Tomorrow's night returns to light 明日の絶望は希望へと変わる Be the light その光になれ
Actually, this song is dedicated to people who went through some natural catastrophe, but when this song was out I was feeling really lonely, and you know, the lyrics of this song reflects exactly what I felt at that time Because a lot of people who feel lonely are usually people with friends, but somehow they don't feel their love... unlikely what people think, lonely people aren't necessarily "antisocial", a lot of us have friends... we just don't feel loved, but on the other hand, we love them, and because of that we always hide our sadness with a smile, and try to become their happiness, become their light, so they won't feel the same as us... This song helped me so much... and I don't even remember how that feeling is right now :) I hope it helps a lot of people around the world, like it did to me, and I hope they will find happiness, just as I did!!! And for those who never went through loneliness, pay attention, cause you may have a friend like this, without even knowing... express your love :) PS: it doesn't mean that everyone going through loneliness feels like this, there are certainly other kinds of loneliness...

Joberu Mir # 1 you welcome!! I wish you a lof of luck!!! And you'll see, when you overcome it, you'll be so happy with so many things. Once someone told me that "To be really happy, you need to know sadness", and it's true, because when the happiness comes, it's amplified by all the things that used to make you unhappy (this is actually explained better in inside out) I know it's quite bad to give a reason to pain, but you'll understand later, trust me :) search for that time!

Covid-19 brought me here once again. In every darkness, there's always lightness! Be the light!

Exactly. I've been following a fair amount of infotainment channels, and they've already made videos in the past talking about research which predicted that it was a matter of time before we'd be hit with a pandemic if no action was taken. And, years later, no action had been taken and we're struck with a pandemic. Yet I'm glad that this one is quite severe, but not too severe. We could've been hit with something way worse. This really is a wake-up call to us. People have also been ignoring climate scientists in the same way. I'm honestly way more scared about my health, our economy and our future when it comes to global warming. But covid forces us to make changes. And the outcry to make these changes in a sustainable manner have been relatively huge. Therefore I believe that covid might have hit us exactly on the right time. It was a matter of time before we got hit with something like this, so I'd rather have it hit us at a time when it can bring us something good. As you said, in every darkness, there's always brightness. These really are exciting times. We are at the brink of social collapse, but we could also lift our civilization to the next level. We are all together on this world, so we have to do it together. There's no room for division and inequality :)
Just the thought of another day (また新しい一日が始まった) How did we end up this way (なんであんなことになってしまったんだろう) What did we do wrong? (僕達は何か悪いことでもしたのかな) God (神よ・・・) Even though the days go on (時間は流れて) So far so far away from (あの日からどんどん離れていく) It seems so close (でもまだあの日は近くに感じる) Always weighing on my shoulder (いつもその痛みはそばにあるんだ) A time like no other (いつもと違ったあの時) It all changed on that day (あの日からすべては変わった) Sadness and so much pain (痛みと哀しみで溢れたあの日) You can touch the sorrow here (その哀しみはまるで触れるくらいリアルで) I don't know what to blame (一体誰のせいにすればいいんだろう) I just watch and watch again (僕はただ何度も何度も見ていた) Even though the days go on (時間は流れて) So far so far away from (あの日からどんどん離れていく) It seems so close (でもまだあの日は近くに感じる) Even though the days go on (時間は流れて) So far so far away from (あの日からどんどん離れていく) It seems so close (でもまだあの日は近くに感じる) What did it leave behind? (あの出来事は僕らに何を残したんだろう) What did it take from us and wash away? (あの波に僕らの何を洗い流されてしまったんだろう) It may be long (まだまだ時間はかかるけど) But with our hearts start a new (傷付いた心でまたゼロからやり直して) And keep it up and not give up (諦めずに誇りを持って) With our heads held high (上を向いて頑張り続けよう) You have seen hell and made it back again (地獄を見たけどまたここに戻ってきた) How to forget? (どうやったら忘れられる?) We can't forget the lives that were lost along the way (いや決して忘れられない、あの日先に旅立ってしまった人々) And then you realize that wherever you go there you are (逃げようとしてもどこにいても自分がいる) Time won't stop (時間は止まってくれないから) So we keep moving on (続けるしかない) Yesterday's night turns to light (昨日の闇が光になる) Tomorrow's night returns to light (明日の闇は光に戻る) Be the light (その光になれ) Always weighing on my shoulder (いつもその痛みはそばにあるんだ) A time like no other (いつもと違ったあの時) It all changed on that day (あの日からすべては変わった) Sadness and so much pain (痛みと哀しみで溢れたあの日) Anyone can close their eyes (ただ目を閉じて) Pretend that nothing is wrong (見て見ないふりをすることは誰にでもできるよ) Open your eyes (ほら目を開けて) And look for light (その光を探して) What did it leave behind? (あの出来事は僕らに何を残したんだろう) What did it take from us and wash away? (あの波に僕らの何を洗い流されてしまったんだろう) It may be long (まだまだ時間はかかるけど) But with our hearts start a new (傷付いた心でまたゼロからやり直して) And keep it up and not give up (諦めずに誇りを持って) With our heads held high (上を向いて頑張り続けよう) You have seen hell and made it back again (地獄を見たけどまたここに戻ってきた) How to forget?
