YESSSSSS ONE OK ROCK! Absolutely love them and Taka has an amazing voice. They slayed this song. I'm so excited for the new album and the concert in ATL. i think you and Caitlyn would both love the song Renegades and the MV. The MV is so meaningful. Taka also kills it in covers and their acoustic versions of some of their songs. A lot of their songs have deep and meaningful lyrics and some will even bring tears to your eyes. Only a few of these songs have mvs, I know Broken Heart of Gold has a visualizer/lyric video that is on OOR'S actual youtube page. AH! I'm so excited for you to dig deeper into them and cant wait to witness your journey through it. Its going to be awesome and you will love them so much.

You definitely won't regret buying the tickets, these guys are phenomenal live. I discovered them thru Kpop funnily enough in 2015 and as soon as I heard they were on in Canada I went. It was the best live I had heard in many years. I felt bad for their opening acts because once they hit the stage there was no way anyone remembered who went before. Taka's voice live is amazing. So excited to hear your going. 💜💜💜 Songs I would recommend you look into are The Beginning, Clock Strikes, Cry Out, Taking Off, Stand Out Fit In...I could go on. Oh it is also more then his voice, his stage presence is off the charts.

What songs I like most by OOR? ALL of them. No literally, they have no bad songs. Suggestions: The Beginning, Liar, Deeper Deeper, No Scared, Re:Make, C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h, Jibun ROCK, Clock Strikes, Cry Out - These are some older MVs, you might notice they tend to change up their sound from time to time, but it's all AMAZING. Newer MVs: Mighty Long Fall, Last Dance, When I Was King, Taking Off, Bedroom Warfare, Take What You Want And Go, Change, Wasted Nights, Wonder, Broken Heart of Gold. OOR is such a talented and amazing group, I have loved them since the late 2000s. I am so excited for your journey which I just know will be amazing, because I love these guys so much. After this reaction I decided to check out these guys. They’ve been on my radar for quite a while but watching this with you I started to listen to save yourself on repeat. I’m now starting to listen to more of their tracks and getting to know them as a band. From looking at their albums and shuffling their songs, I think that the tornado in this mv could be referencing their last album which was called ‘Eye of the storm’. I love that part too!!! anyways when reacting to them live performances are always the best! these are my recommendations; for heavier side: Mighty Long Fall (live at yokohama stadium) No scared (Yokohama stadium) Liar (personally prefer the live mix one!) Deeper Deeper (Yokohama stadium) - for a little surprise abt Taka singing go for "Ending Story??" (prefer the Live Mix orchestra!) - for catchy ones (all their songs are catchy but yes, my personal likes!) How’d you restrain yourself from going down the oor live rabbit hole after seeing we are?? I had a similar way of getting into them but in 2017. I saw a live performance on youtube, got obsessed and not long after saw that they were touring and bought tix immediately. Songs most likely to be on the upcoming setlist are: Clock strikes The beginning (both from 2013) Mighty long fall Cry out (both from 2015 I was king (2017 along with we are) Wasted nights Stand out fit in (both from last album 2019) Mvs/singles included on the upcoming album Renegades Broken heart of gold Wonder And like others have said their Netflix doc about their livestream concert during covid “flip a coin”

So excited at how this looks and sounds! The narrative is really cool for this one. Spoke to them during the writing. Afai understand it: It is about the narrator (Taka) having facility with relationships and about the person he is speaking to being otherwise brave and competent in life--but shook to her core at their growing intimacy. Taka gets it and doesn't diss her experience. He doesn't neg her--he points out she is independent in general and very courageous in her work endeavors. She is innovative and assertive. He expresses empathy and also emphasizes she is free to go, even though what they have is real. He urges her to put her well being and what is best for her as her priority. It is a great move. It is respectful and diminishes the alarming nature of intimacy for some. He is showing his trustworthiness and we see all his feeling for her and how effected he is, but he is not whining nor being bitter. Really, really cool

There’s nothing more exciting than a new music obsession ❤️ I’m so happy to see you getting into this band, it’s not at all what I expected to see in my subs today but it was a pleasant surprise. I was into jrock wayyy before I got into kpop and it’s technically more of my vibe than kpop is, but in my opinion all music is good music if you know what bands to look at 😁 Can’t wait to see you check out more from them! Haven't commented in sooo long lol. Spotify says I first liked their song Wherever You Are in 2019 but I swear I heard them before then cause (like you) this was my type of music in middle song wayy before Kpop. Anyway, I'm seeing them in Orlando as well!! They are so good and I am so excited!!!! I often see this trend with us older kpop stans, the rock/alternative to kpop pipeline 🤣🤣 Also I recommend checking out Queen Bee, another Japanese rock band. The lead vocalist Avu-chan is mixed and relates to both male and female gender aspects and sometimes goes by both pronouns. Their vocals are amazing.
