For context: in short, they were chatting with the audience about their old songs and that Toru didn't want to rap anymore, but then Taka kinda guilt-tripped him into doing it for the fans. Toru finally relented and suddenly started playing the Yume Yume intro, surprising Taka and the others.

This song was from their first album Zeitakubyo back in 2007. Amazing that they performed it in their Luxury Disease concert in the Tokyo Dome and it still sounds great. Toru said he wouldn't perform this song because it is hard to rap while playing the guitar. Initially he was not the lead guitarist so he was able to rap with no problem. There were 2 concerts at the Tokyo Dome and he did Yume Yume in the first concert so although he said he would not do Yume Yume again, he felt bad if he only did it for the first concert. Really love your reactions to One OK Rock.

This is one of their oldest songs, only half song thou, you can try listening to the full song, ‘Yume Yume’. Toru rap in other song called ‘Keep it Real’ as well. He doesn’t rap anymore now cz he said rapping while playing lead guitar is tiring 😆 but yes his voice is very suitable for rapping 😊 deep voice ❤ He now only do backing vocal and sometimes screaming, you can heard in the song ‘Cry Out’. But hope some days can hear he rap in their new song again ^^

Back in the earliest days ONE OK ROCK used to have 5 members. Alex played lead guitar while Toru was playing rythm guitar so that's why he used to rap. Toru stopped rapping when Alex left the band and Toru had to take over Alex's place as lead guitar 🥲💔 Love your reaction Anthony.
