Iran has been forced to develop a educational infrastructure which consists of over 1900 universities and colleges most of which focus on science and technology. Iran today produces over 90 percent of all its weapons, they are self succificent in many aspects and a powerful force to be reckoned with. If any country decided to go to war with Iran in the form of a full scale invasion, the Iranians and there allies and proxies will set the whole region ablaze and although there will be no winner in any war. The aggressors will soon regret any decision to attack.

Also the Qur'an doesn't talk about nuclear bombs in specific, but it does say not to trangress for God dislikes those who trangress, and I think killing millions of innocent civilians (which is what a nuclear bomb would do) qualifies as trangressing.

And he also said: “Do not cause harm nor return harm.” And he said: “Verily, the worst of people in insolence are those who strike at whoever did not strike them, a man who kills those who did not fight him.” So if you kill a civilian during war then you are the worst of people. ِAlso in The Quran: (190) Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors. So if you kill civilians you are a transgressor. And Nuclear weapons does that. And there are many more examples...
