I totally agree, whether it be Concrete Blonde, Pretty and Twisted or Johnette. I remember when my older brother picked up Bloodletting when I was a kid. Caroline pulled me in and I've been a fan ever since.

@@toms6756 Bloodletting is such a great record. I remember being really excited the day it was released. I play that song (Caroline) for my Mom all the time. I had been listening to the debut and Free forever and was told by someone in the know that Bloodletting was gonna be a kind of different direction for them. I think Walking in London was that different direction. I come back to the underrated Mexican Moon alot these days. “Heal it Up” is an amazing vocal performance and should have been recognized as such.

Saw Concrete Blonde at a small venue in Boston years ago. It was easily one of my top 5 favorite concerts......and I've seen a lot of concerts. She told the audience to "drink up and have a good time" Lol. And that we did.

I see Her as an insightful Genius in the realm of the dark and morse side of the human mind. Her powerful voice and poetic lyrics get the message across of the dark reality of life , Johnette is in my opinion, the most talented and least appreciated singer/songwriter/artist of the alternative Genre in my lifetime. i am blessed to have been listening to Her music for 35 years now.
