I think it's about the "closeness and separateness" of being in love.... She goes to a party with her friends, and her boyfriend is there with her but the metaphor shows him as her "coat" lol. Then it shows him having experiences where he feels awkward at the party, since she knows everyone there and he is just there "with her" so he feels "lost in the sea", but then he begins to socialize as well. Near the end the two partners are happy and they go back home together again -- Then the very ending shows them later going out for some new task/event/day, where this time she is the one being the "coat" for him. 💗
