ONE PERSON CORPORATION (OPC) IN THE PHILIPPINES - Everything You Need to Know

We registered the OPC company online in 15 minutes. We thought we would need the Name of Nominee and Alternate Nominee (2 other persons, preferably Filipinos) with their addresses, TIN number, and a copy of the Nominee and Alternate Nominee's passport. We had everything ready, but when we finished the registration, everything was completed, and there was no information about when we would receive the official company document or the Nominee, etc. Do you know anything about this? At the very least, we saved 80,000 pesos by doing it ourselves.

Lawyer here. You don't have to be in the Philippines to sign the documents. You can also do the signing at the Philippine Embassy or Consulate of the country where you are based and have it delivered via courier to the Philippines Also, what this video didn't discuss is that there's a very limited window of available businesses that you can enter into here in the Philippines because of the Retail Trade Law, which has a very broad definition of what Retail Trade is

She just highlighted the SEC registration, what about BIR, Barangy approval, Mayor office approval. This video is not at all as it claims all you need to know about OPC. Please do your own research as well for other approvals.

Got to love the Discrimination in the Philippines.. .most all other countries people can do businesses no problem..there...as an expat you are less than nothing. This is probably one reason why the philippines is doing so poorly economically. I could name other reasons as well. Love it there but I always have to remember I am a piece of nothing and always will be.
