The only episode I've never rewatch, re-read, no matter how many time I do a re-read is the death of Ace. I remember first time reading it in the manga, I stop reading One Piece for months. I can't accept Ace is gone. Man, Oda introduce him as this complete twin of Luffy. Kind, awesome, funny, stupid, loving to Luffy, strong. Not even once we thought he'll be gone, and then Oda took him. I know Oda himself broke his own heart writing this episode. He needed to take a real long rest from writing and drawing after that. Now that's true love towards the story he created.

literally, at one point I waited for new chapters only to get glimpses of his life, actually there was a point when I didn't care about any pirate crew, and nothing interested me more than the appearance of ace since alabasta,not even the strawhats,I stopped figuring logic and forgot about how the story would progress ahead and instead only liked the chapters regarding ace.After his death, I vowed that I would never follow the next few story arcs immediately after his death,and I would never bother if I never understood the story completely and so I skipped those too.Then I restarted with whole cake.i am still disappointed with his death and will remain until the manga ends.

No one talks enough about whitebeard and how much he sacrificed for ace as well .. how he accepted ace as his son when ace needed it the most and how he went to save him staking down everything he had!!! Yes , Garp was hurting too, he had to choose between his duties and family and I honestly dont blame him for the decision he made, since he was suffering so much due to it that he resigned (remember just like how luffy, ace and sabo had dreams, i bet garp had one too; that being a marine to save people from injustice caused by pirates and evil ppl). Dadan wasn't the best guardian to ace either but we know she was suffering just as much, she loved him and cared for him too!! And not to forget, Makino also cared for ace so she was also deeply hurt😢!!!

"At this last moment I am starting to think that, I wanna live" That hits different. Most heartbreaking scene for me. I could not take it at all. I just can't take it at all. I wanna rewatch marineford arc. Whitebeard entry, luffy and all other coming to allies coming to save Ace was just epic. I got all the hopes that they will save Ace but it was all shattered into pieces. No matter how epic that arc is ace dying in the hand of luffy seeing whitebeard shed tears and Garp lying helpless crying and seeing ace die right infront of eyes, I just can't take it all. If Garp had other thought then Marineford would have ended in the bottom of the sea. Man I love this arc as much as I hate it. Ace was just different. I want to see more of his action. Ace always asked, did he deserved to born? My answer will be, Yes, Ace you deserved to born but you didn't deserve to die young. Rip 😭😭
