Enel is a noob killer, by the end of set 7 Japan put enel in B/C tier. Yellow is easy to beat once you learn how to beat it.

I'd like to think Birdcage Doffy will be viable this format because it feasts on RP Law, and lots of other decks rely on 5c and lower characters like Bonney, Moria, Blue Doffy. The new Noro Noro Beam 2c event is also a great addition to Punk Gibson

Gear5 Luffy is a 2 of at best specifically because of enel, most rp luffy top end is dragon,10cShanks, and Newgate and you just drop bombs while sitting as a 7k lead at minimum. No way this isnt at least competitive.

That’s a lot of non counter in a deck that only has 3 life. Plus BY Luffy is prevalent in this meta and is a 7k-9k leader consistently.

The main issue is that RP Luffy is very, very inconsistent, all your "bombs" are unsearchable if you choose to not run 10c Luffy or if you run too few of them. There's hardly a way to keep up with most decks, as you'll just have some non-games where you don't see big drops or too many of them, which is both equally bad.

Been playing BY Luffy the past couple of weeks (EB01 Meta) and i must be terrible at this game because i just cant win consistently with it. I get the odd game that it plays perfectly but usually i run outta resources before i can go for lethal. Any advice as ive already invested in the deck?

Yeah I’ll plan to try and make a video in the next week or so. Deck is good but it’s VERY particular for play lines/how the deck works.

Lucci destroys Enel, he’s a luck deck, sometimes ace is broken but he’s easily to play against with no skill involved.

@TheEgman, i know this is probably biased but I'm a kata main and i've tested op07 kata against the op07 meta. Even without reject, it still destroys lucci, bonney, AND enel(as it should), 50/50 with rp law.

What kind of testing makes rp law and kata 50/50? Kata generally only plays one body per turn and law is able to remove one body per turn while establishing a wide board which is kata’s weakness. Plus, rush kid and killer puts more pressure on kata than he could handle and make playing 10 mom dangerous

@RahulJha-hn9db understandable that kata plays 1 to 2 bodies a turn(2 if triggers or something) But kata into rp law is like enel into rp law. Just starve them. Go first, gedatsu their board, just dont swing until you can safely establish a mom (7c or 10c) Thats how ive been playing and rp law is much easier

@@Mr0utslder enel and kata don’t play the same tho. Enel is more comfortable taking life and has shura to find gedatsu and has Yamato for removal and the leader ability helps with stall. Kata has none of that. And why would you go first if you’re not gonna swing and are trying to stall till 10 don? If law gets 4 swings ready and does that two turns in a row (which is really easy for law) kata can’t do anything bc he either takes all his life and can’t play a mom or dumps his hand and can’t defend anymore
