Two rapid fire theories: -King of some sort of fire elemental. His leather suit is to help him keep his physical shape. I would not be shocked if Zoro learning to cut fire was necessary to win this fight. -Enma is reacting to Hiyori since it has part of her father's spirit inside it. And the way the blade is reacting only to the sound of the shamisen reminds me of the silence Zoro experienced when he was hearing the breath of all things in Alabasta.

Rocks DO have Haki. They are normally soft to the touch, but as soon as a human tries to touch them, they instinctively activate their armament haki, which is why they feel hard to us.

***NOW THAT YOU MENTIONED IT*** Now that you've mentioned it, the way King stretched his crest very similar to Luffy. Also very similar to what I envision is Luffy's gear 5th activation. You know how he uses his blood for gear 2nd, his bones for gear 3rd, and muscles for gear 4th activations?? He has yet to use his nerves. So I envisioned that he reaches behind his neck and stretches his spinal cord back. The face effect happens and everything. The difference is when he snaps it. Instead of a projectile being fired, it's his whole body moving incredibly fast. He ricochets off of nearby walls like Bellamy but he's in better control. His form changed too and this transformation is a combination of his first 4 gears, haki, and awakening. What better body system to use, in order to activate everything he has, the one system that controls the other systems. Activate all of them at once. Drawback?? He goes into a one week, comatose sleep every time he uses it. It's his nervous system, the brain is exhausted. Other side-effects? You be the judge.

"Oden's Beloved Blade"- At first the chapter title alludes to be about Enma. But it's actually referring to Hyiori, Oden's youngest daughter. Hiyori is Oden's metaphoric Beloved Blade; As Komurasake she sacrificed her life to gain Orochi's trust to be able fool him and ultimately avenging her father and their country . While also ending up into the only weapon that can truly end Orochi's life and accomplish Oden's will.

Quirk: Delivery Fedex can deliver any item to its destination without being impaired by obstacles. They also get a speed boost when carrying objects! However, they are still limited by their own stamina. I can picture them delivering victims to a rescue center, perhaps working as a partner to Hawks to deliver secret information. As I understood the title, it does not simply mean Enma. Oden's beloved swords were extensions of himself: Momo and Hiyori. Likewise, Zoro is not merely connected to Enma. He is connected to Hiyori/Enma.

It feels like Enma started draining Zoro's Haki when he started to doubt his ability to win the fight. I think, in order to regain control of Enma, Zoro will have to flow Conquerer's Haki into the Blade, not only taming Enma, but effectively transforming it into a black blade. Another thought I had a while back, was that Enma would be an arc specific powerup, with it possibly being destroyed at the end of the raid. Then Momo offers him Ame no Habikiri, or, if it is confirmed that Zoro IS related to Ryuma, maybe he offers Shusui back to Zoro as a way of returning the sword to it's family.

I think it is not only the fact that the sound of the shamisen made Enma react, but also that Zoro was distracted by the shamisen sound as well and that is why Enma drained his haki like the first time he used it.

I have a theory of why King, Queen and Sasuki (i think i spell his name right the Toppi Ropo who fought Franky) are able to do their weird dino power is because it is the awaken power of an ancient devil fruit user. After all every time they use those power it really make them to a whole other level. Which will explain why Ulti and Page One not able to use those powers. What do you guys think?

What would be interesting is if King had advanced buso coating his entire body. Considering one of Zoro’s goals is to make his blades turn into black blades, this could be very similar to the luffy and katakuri fight where the fight keeps going on until Zoro can match Kings haki.

oh i was waiting to hear your thoughts on the ending! worth noting that denjiro is the only scabbard we havent gotten a status update on. actually after they cut down orochi, denjiro has been absent entirely, even from the chapter that shows them all splitting up. considering orochi in this chapter is sheltering in the same room law teleported all the scabbards to, it makes me wonder if denjiro stayed behind to meet up with hiyori, if she is the one who healed them? kawamatsu mentions the figure he saw was vaguely familiar, and besides his brief encounter with her, denjiro is the only one who knows what 26yo hiyori looks like. maybe he kept silent about her, split from the scabbards, circled back to meet with her? it would make sense if hiyori is the one that healed the scabbards that she would still be hiding nearby where they were sheltering.

+ only thing that doesnt click is denjiro is in the panel where kin'emon says they didnt have time to spare on the likes of orochi and his expression pretty much mirrored that, so him wanting to go back to finish the job is kinda mehhh. that and im still thinkin abt hiyoris line in act 2 abt wanting to kill orochi herself, so maybe possibly denjiro could be there to aid and protect, but let her actually do the job? ALSO it hasnt been shown what denjiro did before he set sail for onigashima. he mentions gathering everyone at the wharf, but what if before doing that, he went back to kuri to grab the ame no habakiri?? i mean oda gave oden's sword that name for a reason. and considering orochi's devil fruit? that's gotta come back into play. also if it really is hiyori, her dressing up as komurasaki has to be a play on the whole "ghosts of kozuki." imagine her revealing herself, orochi realizing the one he fell for was actually one of his enemies, then bam! thats the end for him

My theory is that Enma heard Zoro saying he needs more information about King, somehow knew that Orochi would be the best person to ask, and took the form of Orochi's weakness so that it can trick him into helping Zoro indirectly.

Is anyone else curious about the significance of "will(s)" in One Piece. The will of D, haki being described as willpower manifestation, CoC, the subtle hints that Sabo inherited Ace's will after eating his devil fruit, people taking on characteristics of previous devil fruit owners, Kanjuro's will creating the flame yokai, swords having their own will, the theory that devil fruits have their own will. These all have to be connected somehow.

You're not the first one to have that idea. While I don't like it, it's very likely that Sanji, and maybe even Luffy, is of Lunarian descent. I don't know how the toughness can be compared, because Sanji's sibling's bodies are basically made of metal.

Awesome cover story idea. Shanks adventure and it focuses on random silly things with shanks crew as they travel to Elbaf. The final chapter of the cover story ends with them arriving there and in that same chapter the strawhats arrive at Elbaf surprised as they park up the Sunny right next to Shanks ship.

Hey matt. Theory for you! King is actually the king of the lunarians! Because in the panel where Marco is daydreaming and gets saved by izou, Marco is daydreaming and says the line about gods living above the red line. All while queen is asking how sanji can light his leg on fire. Stating that he's not a Lunarian or something which king looks at queen when he says that. Then marco says "KING (with a deliberate pause" OF THE FLAMES! I really think that's why king dresses and fights like he does! Youd do anything to win a fight if you had a king and then dethroned, enslaved and forced to watch your subjects and kin killed and made to slave away until death.

I believe that Rocks D. Xebec is a Lunarian as Whitebeard spoke of the Lunarians and how they used to live on the Red Line and given the parallels King has with Marco's mythical pheonix powers I believe that Lunarians have a regeneration ability like the Time Lords from Dr. Who I believe that Rocks D. Xebec did die at God Valley but regenerated into a new incarnation which Xebec named Roche Thomson the inmate on Vice-Warden Hannayabal's list of inmates and during Blackbeards jailbreak Roche Thomson joined Blackbeard Pirates as the crews tenth titanic captain.

My theory is that SWORD was formed by Sakazuki and Kuzan. The both of them made a deal that whoever lost the fight for Fleet Admiral would lead SWORD instead and 'defect' from the marines. Sort of like how Naruto is the Hokage and Sasuke is the 'Shadow Hokage'. So currently, Kuzan is the commander of SWORD. I would like to think some other members of SWORD would be Koby, Smoker and Momonga.
