Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbe are basically the Starter Pokémon for the SH. Zoro = Grass/Steel Sanji = Fire/Flying Jinbe = Water/Fighting Plus, they remind me of the Hoenn Starters! For Luffy's Gear 5, i can definitely see him as a Fighting/Fairy Type! Chopper could be a normal type, while also being either a Grass, Ice, or Fighting. And Brook is a Ghost/Ice

Actually the animes resemble their spiritual animals that Oda himself revealed on a SBS. Zoro and Sanji where supposed to be a tiger and a goat respectively though, but it's Panio's consept so i won't complain cux they're just assume!

I think luffy should be like Evee, it can transform into multiple things but whats different with luffy’s is that it's temporary. So he would have gear 2-4 (including all 3 gear 4 modes) AND gear 5 as a mega evolution
