You can't go wrong with Aurora! She worked with the great Hans Zimmer as a major contributor to the Frozen Planet II soundtrack. She also did a fantastic song for the Assassin’s Creed game trailer. Musical Director: Sonya Belousova, went over the top and busted out like 83 hours of recording for the series music. fun fact: Belousova is Patronymic which means her father was Belousov, Belousov means Whitebeard. Can you imagine if the instrumental of this song would play during some of Nami's most emotional moments? I would actually cry. What's amusing to me that I noticed, is that we got AURORA, who is Norwegian. Oda himself mentioned in a questionnaire in past interviews what nationalities the Strawhats would be part of, if they were in the real world. With Nami, he mentioned that she would be Swedish. Which in itself, is closely related to Norwegian.

I'm only mildly aware of One Piece, but I'm a huge HUGE Aurora fan. I quite like the song! A little bit different from her usual songwriting approach and overall sound....but that's what I enjoyed about it. It's just a really solid whimsical song. She does these things so well. Case in point: Her version of Into the Unknown as well as The Secret Garden. Her version of Into the Unknown is orders of magnitude better than the original, imo. It's less brassy and "look at me SING!" showy....and thereby more emotionally nuanced and resonant.
