i think the only filler i absolutely did not like was the very first one warship island, its ok but since oda was not invloved at all it makes huge plot holes like zoro cutting steel when he was not supposed to be able to do that untill alabasta. aside from that i actually guite like the fillers, one that i think gets slept on alot is the rainbow bridge arc after alabasta. it gives us some nice early robin bonding with the crew moments

It's because if you're a fan of the source material first and foremost, you don't really care that much about stuff written by people who are not Oda. The anime adaptation is just that, an ADAPTATION, and sometimes it doesn't even do a great job with what it takes from the manga. No hate for those who enjoy filler, but personally I'm just not that interested. That's not even mentioning when the filler outright contradicts the canon: the travesty of having a bunch of Foxy pirates actually joining the crew and what followed, for example. No way in hell would Luffy be that nonchalant about who is or isn't on his crew.

Tbh when ppl say One piece is full of fillers and bad ones i always wonder if they’re watching the same anime or what 😂 like there’s barely any fillers in one piece and most of these fillers are so fun tbh and they have the best crew interactions and they’re short and fun so yeah i really love them as fun and short stories. Actually the reason i even started one piece when i was so young was because of the filler before going to reverse mountain, it was so beautiful and emotional and it was the thing that got me invested tbh. So yeah once you feel bored just watch a random filler from one piece and it’s gonna make you smile. Like compared to Naruto or Bleach's fillers, one piece is so fun and short.
