Evangelion, Sailor Moon, Fist of the North Star, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Dragon Ball are higher on the list than One Piece. 33rd place is no global phenomenon. It's just a good selling series. Nothing more nothing less. Pokémon is on another level.

I have already watched One Piece Film Red. The movie is more different to the others One Piece's movies, but it is amazing, is a wonderful movie that all fans of One Piece should enjoy. The movie is a spectacular musical. I have observed that the US audience for One Piece Film Red is very very low, I think they do not enjoy the beauty of One Piece as in other countries, what a shame and I am sad because in my contry we don't see a similar promotion of the movie. One Piece is the best manga/anime.

The audience would be low since the first dub was the absolutely abysmal 4kids censored dub. Seriously, go look it up and get ready for cringe city population : you. But has been picking up steam since then because the manga gets more frequent releases and the Funimation english dub is closer to the source material and much, much better acted.
