I really love the way Oda shows that blood family is valuable but it doesn’t mean you can’t choose your family either. Some of the deepest and most important connections were from “mismatched” family like Garp -> Koby, Dragon -> sabo, Whitebeard -> Ace, etc

Future Arcs Theory I think the next arc after the Egghead Arc is the Elbaf Arc. We will see Robin reuniting with Saul and seeing the Giants' library of Ohara's research. From this arc, we will learn the name of the Ancient Kingdom Clover say before being shot. Shanks will likely be involved and we might see a duel between Luffy and Shanks albeit in a friendly manner compared to previous Yonko fights. Due to the fall of the Blackbeard Pirates at the hands of Garp in Hachinosu, Blackbeard will take the Road Poneglyph information he stole from Law, take Law hostage, and head to Elbaf to retrieve the final Road Poneglyph information. There will be a battle between the Straw Hat-Red Hair-Elbaf alliance against the Blackbeard Pirates. Blackbeard will be defeated but it is hard to say if he will escape or not. After this, the Straw Hat Pirates will head to Laugh Tale with their allies. The Laugh Tale Arc will have the Straw Hats and their allies arrive at the mysterious, ancient island hidden from the eyes of Imu. From that point, they will all witness Luffy claim One Piece and learn about Joy Boy's story and will. Joy Boy's story will be a flashback with the main antagonist of the Joyboy flashback be Imu. I think introducing Imu in a flashback before their present-day introduction is far better. Joy Boy and Imu desire balance in the world. Whereas Joy Boy desires freedom and happiness, Imu saw the opposite. They see the world as corrupt, evil, and malevolent. Imu is a cynic and grew malevolent over time with their cynical beliefs. The result was Imu and the 20 Kingdoms defeating Joy Boy and his allies and plunging the world under the World Government's control. Because of Joy Boy's story, the Straw Hat Pirates and their allies have a reason to fight and defeat Imu, the King of the World. Robin and some others advise that the information gathered in Laugh Tale should be sent to the Revolutionary Army. The RA's influence and power can help spread the word about Laugh Tale and its truths. Luffy now has a reason to meet his father, but Luffy doesn't care if Dragon is his father since he barely knows him. With Joy Boy's story, dream, and plans in hand, the Straw Hats and their allies will know what to do to free the world from the tyranny of the World Government. They have to destroy the Red Line using Pluton. The RA spreads the news of Laugh Tale, Joy Boy, and Imu's existence in the World Government. Mass confusion and chaos erupt causing many world leaders to question their loyalty to the World Government. Furious, Imu takes command and orders the Gorosei to purge the World Government of any signs of dissent. Sakasuki also learns the truth about the World Government. Angry with the constant lies and deceit from the Gorosei, Sakasuki has enough and starts planning a military coup against the Celestial Dragons. Factions in Final War 1. Straw Hats Grand Alliance (Straw Hats, Luffy's Pirate Friends, and Revolutionary Army) 2. Sakasuki's Marine Faction (Radical Marines) 3. Garp's Marine Faction (Good Marines) 4. Imu's Celestial Dragon Army (Gorosei, Holy Knights, and Cipher Pol) 5. Blackbeard Pirates I am far more invested in seeing Blackbeard fighting Imu and trying to inherit Rocks D. Xebec's will to take over the World Government. Because of the chaos, Imu plans to destroy the world and restart the events that started the Void Century again with the Great Cleansing (Flooding and Sunbeam Nukes). The fight has to go long enough until Pluton arrives at the Red Line and destroys it resulting in the fall of the Red Line, Mariejois, and Fishman Island.

What if Impel Down is literally a second prison break. I could see Shiki returning with a fleet while everyone is busy at war, freeing everyone, and recruiting strong characters to join the war against the world government. I refuse to believe Shiki isn't going to show up along with Enel who I think is key to the Ancient Weapon Uranus Egghead hints at needing an alternative power source which in my mind can only mean Enel's DF.

People can’t even power scale properly because of how insane the universe itself is and how broken some characters are . And finally you can never see it coming . Atleast for the most part . Outcomes are kinda predictable the closer you get into whatever is happening but the how ? Yeah keep guessing buddy . Everyone knows who is on what island but not one person even knows what’s gonna happen there . Like we don’t even know all the people who would be there . I am watching/ reading one piece since 2011 and i am 23 years old. No comic, no move, no series, no manga, no graphic novel, no anime and no rest of the fu*king things is better then one piece in this omnivore (if it exists). One piece for me is like a person that is in my life, how was there for me when no one was and taught me lesson of my life. I hope i never die before seeing the end (I hope it never ends because the last episode will be saddest day of my life ) because I will feel like I was not Lucky enough for having a good end. If Garp inverts WhiteBeard, who is to say that he will lose? WB lost, so an inversion could be that Garp gets a huge victory. Heck, Garp could even be the one to defeat BlackBeard. Sounds crazy? But there is actually a bit of setup for it. 1) Not only did BB kidnap his protege Koby, but BB is the one who defeated his "grandson" which led to his execution 2) BB and Luffy are really quite alike and very similar. If you want a battle between different ideologies, Garp vs BlackBeard would be much better since Garp has at least some sense of duty, whereas BB seems to be willing to do anything for his ambition I doubt it will happen, but it could imo. But realistically I think something is coming up that will unite different people to be "unlikely allies", which is why we are getting all this stuff on the World Government right now, as opposed to after or before the action. Because it will intercept the action.

Just gonna throw this idea out there but what if the whole reason we see a ship at egg head is because blackbeard wants to capture Saturn but he uses garp and Coby as a way to bait the situation not necessarily that they capture gapr and Coby but more so garp is actually able to free Coby, blackbeards expects this but because they capture Saturn he negotiate with the world government who has no choice but to make the island a recognize nation but let's take it a step further .... Blackbeard steals a unknown powerful fruit from Saturn before returning him.... This would put the world government in a sticky situation but it would play out the all out war that's been talked about for a while just my theory

I slightly disagree with your viewpoint that Garp is supposed to parallel Whitebeard. While that is plausible, I believe he is supposed to parallel Ace. Let's look at it this way: Back in during the Marineford Arc, we learned that Blackbeard initially planned on capturing Luffy, but instead ended up capturing Ace, leading to his death. Now, during the Final Saga, Blackbeard initially planned on capturing Koby, until he learned that he was apart of SWORD. In order for his plan to succeed, he still needs to capture someone. And who better, than Garp? He holds much more importance to the Navy than Koby. He will also be captured and killed, leading Koby to parallel Luffy. Both now have a reason to go after Blackbeard. Very similar to the Roger and Garp alliance against Xebec.

i already figured out how they will escape. If you notice, The Lab Phase is only connected to the Main Phase just by a small thread of Clouds. Cut that Thread and basically the Lab Phase will move on its own by the Wind. Another hint. The ones that will allow the Straw Hats escape are going to be Kuma and the Revolutionaries. Kuma will probably sacrifice himself, while Dragon will reveal his devil fruit to push the Lab Phase Away together with everyone in it. It also explains why Oda hasn't revealed all of the Seraphim yet. Because the current 4 Seraphim will join Luffy and Co. as allies. Meaning the other 3 or 4 Seraphim will be used by the World Government. And the other missing Seraphim are clones of the more Evil Shichibukai, meaning they are more likely to be evil. Since we know the Seraphim have personalities.

Garp cannot be killed by Blackbeard currently. You saw him retreating from Amazon Lily the moment Rayleigh arrived. And Garp was the man that stood on the same level as Roger. Koby's rescue is going to be a success, but something else is going to happen. All the Yonkou are finally making their move. And remember the chapter before this one. Oda likes to make parallels, and Oda has always stated that the most important character in the series is Luffy, and that all the developments on the story are mostly geared towards Luffy. The current and last chapter both have something in common. Luffy's Mentor Figures revealed their true power finally. Because just like Blackbeard is making his moves, we know the Cross Guild and also Shanks are also making their own moves. Just as Garp and Co. leave Hachinosu, something will happen that will Shock the World. But most importantly, it will shock Luffy himself. Garp will run into Shanks and the Red Haired Pirates. The one that will kill Garp is going to be Shanks. While the World will be completely shocked by this event, the one that will be shocked the most is going to be Luffy himself. And he is at the end of the day the Main Character of the Story. So all the development should also have some major development on Luffy himself. And nothing would develop Luffy's character than him finding out that the person he admires the most killed one of the persons he loves the most. Also Shanks killing Garp, is the perfect setup for having Luffy actually want to fight and beat Shanks. Its more than just standing on the way of his goals. Shanks has now taken someone imporant from Luffy, and we know that nothing is more important to Luffy than the persons he cares and loves. Take one away from him, and he will never forgive you.

Luffy is not a hateful individual, he already hates Blackbeard enough. But he has no reason to hate Shanks. Unless he harms someone he cares about. Also Garp has plenty of reasons to attack and fight Shanks. He turned his grandson into a pirate. And we all know Garp is just as rash as Luffy. If he gets pissed off, he will jump at the opportunity to exchange fists with anyone.

It would come so far out of left field a large chunk of the fandom would be pissed, and I just don't see Oda doing that without proper setup. Garp and Shanks have had virtually zero interaction, AT ALL. 2. Even though Shanks is a pirate, I feel like Garp would respect Shanks the same way Sengoku does, and the same way Garp respected Roger. It's been clear that Shanks is basically the new age Roger in many ways, and he's also been shown MANY times to bee this kind hearted person like Roger, so I just don't see Roger hating him enough to start a death battle. He can not be his friend and hate the fact that he's a pirate (just like with Roger), but at the end of the day he respects him enough to acknowledge he's not truly a bad person (just like with Roger). 3. Shanks likely respects Garp and Luffy too much to do anything like that. You mention God Valley, well Whitebeard was at God Valkey, in fact, Whitebeard was one of the people Garp and Roger beat at God Valley, and yet Shanks never tried to kill Whitebeard, and they actually did fight. Shanks respected Whitebeard alot, and vice versa. So I just don't see it.Personally, i dont see Garp dying at all (killing Garp but not other less important characters like Kinemon would be stupid imo), but if Oda does kill him, I think he'll do it by someone who's actually a villain already, not some surprise twist like with Shanks.

@@what7530 there is no need for them to interact. They both mentored Luffy, the main character of the story. That's enough connection. Roger and Garp respected each other, that didnt stop them from fighting and almost killing each other. For the strong respect is more than just that. Respect is also earned or acknowledged through fighting too. Kaido and Luffy are examples of respect through battle. And finally at the end of the day Garp is a Marine and Shanks is a pirate. Fighting each other is part of their job. We are at the endgame already, neither Garp or Shanks have any reason to hold back. All the poweful characters are starting to move. Anyone can run into anyone and conflict will arise.

If everything is inverted then since whitebeard died at marineford, shouldn’t Garp survive? Whitebeard was also sick and dying already, Garp is not. If they kill off Garp it would honestly make it hard to finish the series despite it probably being a necessary catalyst of sorts for Luffy and even Dragon as we don’t know the state of his and Garps relationship. Edit*** It would be so amazing if how Shanks showed up to stop the fighting at Marineford, that Dragon shows up to save his father at Hachinosu.

@@kartavyakumbhare I'm not sure I would give Blackbeard credit for killing Whitebeard unless you mean by capturing Ace and luring him into marineford. But the actual killing was done by not only Blackbeard, and all his pirates, but like thousands of marines and admirals and many others. He took tons of damage from tons of people. Akainu blew half his face off. Blackbeard just sort of shot him a few times at the end.
