I, myself, have a weak spot for Brook. A super loyal soul, even after floating around as a bodyless soul for decades and all of his comarades' deaths, he still wants to fullfill the promise made with Laboom. And his way of asking for naughty things in a super polite way is just hilarious. Plus his skeleton jokes. 🤣 Just have to love him.

The part that hits the most is that only sanji's mom and luffy praised him for the food even though it got ruin. When luffy ate that Bento with such enthusiasm, sanji knew this is where he belongs. (ofc he knew that before too)

In fact, they do it day by day because they take risks for him in each of the adventures they have and they also follow his ideas no matter how reckless they are. Several characters underestimate and mock Luffy and say to his crew "How do you follow a captain like him?" and at no time did they doubt that decision. Robin, Sanji, Zoro, Nami, etc, have risked their lives many times for Luffy, just like he does too. At Arabasta, Luffy is almost buried in the sand if it weren't for Robin saving him (and they weren't even allies) and Sanji saving Luffy and the entire crew by fooling Crocodile as "Mr. Prince". What happens is that the narrative marks more the scenes that Luffy risked for his crew because they are key moments for the development of the characters (the rescue of Robin, the intervention in Sanji's family, etc).

While I like Reiji, I don’t think she’s one of the best older sisters ever. The reason why is because she really only helped Sanji when no one was around and didn’t protect him from his brothers. Now, I understand why, she didn’t want to become a reject like Sanji or lose her place in the family, but I feel like being one of the best older sisters would have to be her actively opposing her family and standing up to them whilst doing everything she can for her little brother. I’m not saying she isn’t a good sister, I’m just saying she isn’t the best. However, she did the best she could do, and that’s good enough.

The only reason that Sanji is my favourite character instead of Zoro is because Sanji always does what is good for the crew even if it meant disobeying the Captain. We have seen this during Usopp and Luffy's fight inside the Merry when he kicks both of them when they went out of line or when Robin left the crew and he went after her without permission or when Luffy says to run in Sabaodi Archipelago, etc. Meanwhile Zoro does everything that Luffy says without question, not that I have something against him. That's why I liked this Arc when Sanji had to face the consequences of his (kindness) tendency of trying to solve everything on his own and had to put faith in Luffy

@@kaori1621 My dude, I specifically wrote that I have nothing against Zoro or him following Luffy, in fact he is my 3rd favourite character in the series after Luffy and Sanji. It's just that I like Sanji better because he looks at things as they are and decides for himself whether following Luffy's order is good for the crew or not, as we have seen is Sabaodi Archipelago he decided for himself that running away was not the option ( well it didn't go his way either😅 ) and later after the time skip Luffy also came to the same conclusion. Also he does not want to let others to carry his burdens, because carrying this burden meant going against Big Mom, which Sanji thought, rightfully so, that it would be too great for Luffy to carry. Which, as I have stated above is Sanji's biggest flaw ( right after his rule of not hitting women, but I think that flaw should not be corrected as it makes him hilarious 😂 ) that has to be corrected. Do you see now, Zoro is a flawless character, but it's just that I personally like a flawed character more than a flawless one ( for example I like Snape more than Dumbledore and yeah I know that I am a minority ). It's just a matter of my preference, not whether Zoro is bad or Sanji is bad. I just think that generally flawed character have much more depth to them and have to evolve, which Sanji does so in WCI.
