One piece is the best anime of all time. I can explain 1: one piece is about world building and enjoyment I doesn’t matter about the fights (not saying that the fights are bad or they don’t matter) but it matters about the enjoyment and if your a OG and look back on this anime with all the openings and episodes it hits different and when you get new powerups we t felt different. Like gear 2 and 3 one piece is for enjoyment oda didn’t make gear 5 for a big power up he made it for fun and just look at the animation in pre timeskip there pretty goofy same with the facial expressions (not saying that the art style is ugly) and all of the big anime protagonist like goku has these serious powerups like mui. Gear 5 is the embodiment of goofy. Oda made this for fun . But at the end of the day it’s options you can hate one piece and say it’s too long idc. You’re just being goofy ya damn goofy
