It’s 1 hour per episode, and there will be 8 episodes, keep in mind Toei animation does stretch out their animation. So it’s should be enough time to cover the East Blue.

LOL. East blue saga is 100 manga chapters. 12 volumes. It is the first saga in the anime and it has a very fast pace. The anime is 61 chapters counting the filler. It will be a big change for sure.

​@@bigWazaa If we go with the 1 episode should be 3 chapters rule (which works for early One Piece) the anime should have had 33 episodes and a runtime of around 11 hours. It stretched itself with filler content even in the "canon" episodes. The live action has around 8 hours and way faster fights - so there will be cuts but likely not as many as you think.

Also, don’t worry about the voices, because the Japanese voice actors who voiced them in the anime will do the Japanese dub 🎉

I also hope the episodes will be 60+ minute each. even better: 80. but boy what a trailer. it's a lot of fun! now if only the actual show will be just as fun! ^^ fun fact about the voices - in the german dub, they also feature the same voice actors as in the anime show, lol. probably in a lot of the non-english dubs, if they're smart.
