My ideal progression is this: 1 Episode Loguetown 1 Episode Reverse Mountain + Whiskey Peak 1 Episode Little Garden 2 Episodes Drum Island (in the first season every main character got a 2 episode arc) 3 Episodes Alabasta There is a lot of slow desert crossing in the Alabasta Arc. They can totally condense a bunch of it and fit all the important parts in just 3 episodes.

That’s exactly how I envisioned it too. Loguetown is one full episode. Reverse Mountain and Whiskey Peak can definitely be one episode (Laboon is gonna get more expensive the longer they’re on screen and ending the episode off with Zoro’s massacre would be sick). Little Garden can be one episode cause again, expensive CG and there’s only so many major things that happen. Drum Island is two cause you gotta explain Chopper. And Alabasta can easily work in three cause like you said, there’s a lot of desert walking. They can definitely do it all in 8 episodes pretty well.

I sum up the story from logue to alabasta and this is what 1 got.... Ep1 loguetown (smoker chasing luffy but dragon interrupt,buggy and alvida also chase luffy, zoro buy new sword and meet tashigi) Episode 2 ..reverse mountain ( baroque works already introduce with silohoutte ..we can also see vivi running from alabasta ...we see laboon and crocos ).. Episode 3 whiskey peak ( mis wednesday , mr 5 , miss valentine , ms monday ,mr 9, zoro and luffy fight ...smoker still chasing luffy in a marine ship..vivi joins strawhat Episode 4 little garden (on their way vivi tells luffy that alabasta kingdom is in trouble..smoker with his ship fired a canon on going merry they now know how to ship,battle and ussop knows how fire a canon now but not enough to defeat smoker good thing mr 2 passby and save strawhat..they gone to little garden ( dory and brogy [they will show them probably but i think not] jurrasic part in this island would be good... crocodile will be introduce together with miss sunday (robin) and king cobra on alabasta..crocodile will tell baroque agents to chase after vivi..mr 3 and mis goldenweek is here chasing vivi...final fight in little garden would be mr5. ,mis valentine and mr 3 vs strawhat..strahwat defeats them and goes to alabasta but namie gut bitten by a bug Episode 5 and 6 ..drum island Epiaode 5 [strawhat finding a doctor to save nami ] smoker recieves a message from garp whats going on in alabasta and he gather the marines including coby and helmeppo [they know now how to fight]....wapol introduced [drum island main villain] ...dr kureiha introduced and chopper ..strawhat finding a doctor in drum island village (dalton introduced) villagers are afraid to help nami because of wapol but they tell there is a doctor living in the castle top the mountain..luffy carry nami on her back while climbing the mountain ..chopper back story...luffy almost fell but chopper saved him [dr kureiha (hopefully jamie lee) saves nami ..and tell choppers back story..wapol arrived Episode 6 ..wapol vs luffy ..luffy defeats wapol...chopper joined strawhat...(at alabasta baroque work top fighter introduced..mr 1 , miss 2xfinger,mr 2 , mr 4 miss merry xmas....ace introduced... Episode 7 and 8 alabasta Epiaode 7 Strawhat arrived in alabasta (koza introduced with his army ...luffy and vivi fight each other..crocodile attacks luffy and captured vivi....(pell introduced)...koza gather troop to revolt againts crocodile...strawhat gathered and will attack baroque..smoker is already in alabasta with marines tashigi, coby and helmeppo... Episode 8...kozan troop vs alabasta army with baroque troops crocodile reads a fake ponyglyph...crocodile held vivi hostage ( dramatic scene) strawhat is in the battlefield ..[alabasta final showdown strawhathat vs baroque top agents ]...zoro vs mr 1 ..nami vs 2x finger...sanji vs mr 2 ...ussop chopper vs mr4 and mis meri xmas....luffy defeats crocodile..final marine boss...coby and helmeppo vs zoro and luffy...but coby defeated...smoker vs luffy ..luffy almost captured by smoker but coby and helmeppo help luffy escape ..and ace hold smoker ..strawhat escaped but smoker chase them on ship again..mr 2 saves luffy...smoker defeated and came back to tell garp that he failed his mission...(but smoker now knows luffy is not a badguy so he stop chasing him)....ending scene..all strawhat recieve bounty(not sure but if they will do it instead in water 7 it would be good)...vivi leaves the crew (dramatic scene) strawhat farewell to vivi "X" mark ..just like barrel oath in season 1..[robin joins ship].... ////This is just my theory guys peace////

@@wildchell Nice sequence but I dont think you need one whole episode for Reverse Mountain. Here's my thoughts: Episode 1: Loguetown (Just like how Loguetown introduced the series in season 1) This arc in the LA would be shorter than the source material since Smoker already knew what Luffy look like (at the end of season 1). This will also include Zoro buying his swords, Usopp buying tools and equipments, Buggy + Alvida teamwork, and the introduction of Dragon. And this episode will end with the Strawhats crossing the Reverse Mountain and a cliffhanger of showing a huge whale. Episode 2: - Introduction of Laboon, Crocus, Mr. 9, the Unluckies, and Miss Wednesday - Laboon's backstory - Whole of Whiskey Peak - They can also add a scene where Garp, Koby, Helmeppo and the marines crossing the Calm Belts and explaining the concept so that the audience will know why pirates cant easily get out from the Grand Line - Mr. 3 should also be teased here and this episode will end showing Miss All Sunday on the Merry Episode 3: Little Garden. This should be a good choose of episode for this arc because the main villain here is Mr. 3. The title "One Piece" at the start of the episode should be themed to Mr. 3 because its literally episode 3 Episode 4-5: Drum Island I believe this would pretty much flow like Nami's arc on season 1 episode 7 & 8. Nevertheless, the ending of episode 5 should be the iconic fall of blossoms and Chopper finally joining the crew. Episode 6 - 8 (Alabasta) I believe Episode 6 & 7 would choose between these scenes as endings - Strawhats + Smoker getting jailed - Sanji disguised himself as Mr. Prince - Luffy getting hooked by Crocodile - Vivi realizing she isnt with Usopp but Bon Clay - Crocodile defeating Luffy one more time Episode 8 should be the final battle of the Alabasta. After the battle, they can show the Strawhats resting and then switching to other scenes like wanted poster of Luffy and Zoro has been made as well as scenes adapted from Episode 151 where the Warlords Mihawk, Kuma, Doflamingo, and the Fleet Admiral Sengoku have a meeting due to defeat of Crocodile. They may even drop names of the other Warlords too as a teaser. And then, the episode should end with the iconic "X" tatoo rise during the goodbye to Vivi. But wait, thats not all, just like how they teased Smoker at the end of season 1, this episode should also add a VERY ending where Robin showed up in the Merry. And if you analyze this ending scene, it also parallel to my thoughts of how Episode 2 will end but this time Robin will identify herself as Nico Robin, not Miss All Sunday. So dialogues could be something like this: "Miss All Sunday?? What are you doing here?!" "Baroque Works is gone so dont call me by that name anymore. Call me Nico Robin and I am here to join your crew" And then The End

Steve Maeda already confirmed multiple times during interviews for season 1 that the next season would open with Loguetown. It's too important to be skipped. Rearranged sure, but not skipped.

The show really could have used 10 episodes both in season 1 and now in season 2. They should have finished off with logue town, and 3 episodes is NOT enough for a satisfactory alabasta experience.

Alabasta can honestly be fit into 2 we can see part of vivis backstory in drum and then cut out like 60% of the wandering around in alabasta. All we need is the civil war and luffy vs croco version 1 and 2 We could spend another episode on the afterparty, them leaving, Vivi staying and Robin joining but honestly I just don't think we can have a good run if they try to do alabasta in season 2 They should instead heavily focus on Logue town and early Grandline and take their time on this

That's why Skypea is gonna be great. 8 episodes for Jaya + Skypea. 3 for Alabatsa is the minimum for an immersion. 2 will fell rush like ya-hoo we get there, flashback, beat the bad guy and gtfo. That's also where Zoro replaces the two swords he lost to Mihawk. Logue Town really can't be skipped. It's just too important. And the actress who played Alvida slimmed down for the role.

@@blakelandry9313 Yeah. We should be starting Season 2 with Logue Town. I don't understand why this video would expect Logue Town to be skipped. That would have been a broken promise if Logue Town got cut from Season 2 too. Not to mention the set from Gol D. Roger's execution already being there at the start of Season 1.

The showrunner has gone out of his way to say Loguetown will NOT be skipped since he feels it's a very important arc, so important he planned to make 2 episodes for it in Season 1 when it was planned for 10 episodes instead of 8. It is far more likely they focus more on Buggy, Alvida, Smoker, Tashigi and the current Baroque Work Members to have a more threatening villain presence since they've only teased moments and characters up until Drum Island, not even making it to Arabasta.

If they actually cover Loguetown-Alabasta in only 8 episodes my excitement will shrink down by at least 70%. I know that this show requires a huge budget, but the runtime doesn't need to be filled with extensive fights and expensive shots. Just fill up the extra time with more conversations and interactions of the characters and I'll be happy.

I see it this way. Episode 1 logue town 2 reverse Mountain 3 - 4 whiskey peek 5 - 6 little garden 7 - 8 drum island and approaching alabasta. I feel like after last season, they wont need to rush like they did as they were able to see success, so they can out more money into the series. Second, focusing on alabasta next season would save them a lit of money in the budget as well. Let the other arcs simmer and cook.

Well obviously the episode order in the vid is wrong, as they're definitely doing Loguetown, though I do think it'll be similar. It's not my ideal order, but maybe something like this: 1 - Loguetown 2 - Reverse Mountain (+ MAYBE Whiskey Peak) 3 - Little Garden 4 + 5 - Drum Island 6, 7, 8 - Alabasta I can see them possibly cutting Whiskey Peak and just transferring what it covers to Reverse Mountain in some form. My biggest concern (despite stuff like Chopper) is probably still Alabasta and how it'll be handled since there's quite a bit to cover.

Saying they will skip Loguetown is a big claim. It's way more likely that S2 will not include Alabasta at all. It's sad, I know but Alabasta cannot fit in 2 or even 3 episodes no matter how much they skip. Now that we know S2 is going to be 8 episodes it's pretty much confirmed that Alabasta will be S3

I hope it’s more than eight episodes Arabasta would be too rushed, unless they cut out like Whiskey Peak or rush through other arcs The amount of content that’ll need to be covered will be about double what season 1 covered, but season 2 will have the same amount of episodes? I’d rather they save Arabasta for season 3 -1 episode for Loguetown -1 episode for Reverse mountain -1 episode for Whiskey Peak -2 episodes for Little Garden -3 episodes for Drum Island Seems like a better ratio than trying to cram in Arabasta in the new season

I thought of the same way that the 2nd season would go but they can definitely get Logue Town done in episode 1 since they already got the set for the location then have the final minutes of it being the Straw Hats go up Reverse Mountain which would continue in the next episode which would cover the Reverse Mountain & Whiskey Peak arcs

I always felt that just because they don’t skip Loguetown doesn’t mean it can’t be merged. My idea is to move Loguetown to the first island of the Grand Line. Open with Reverse Mountain and have a combo arc that covers the important events of Loguetown, RM, and WP. Then move on to LG. Drum can be one episode if they cut the fluff. LG as well. That could leave 3-5 episodes for Alabasta. Ending the season on LG or Drum is a good way to get cancelled. With one season every 2 years not only is that terrible pacing but also a horrible finale. They need to end on Ala. People forget how much season 1 changed. They can easily combine the essential beats of every arc while still merging locations and culling secondary characters.

They might not get to Drum island. 8 Episodes for Loguetown, reverse mountain, whiskey peak, and little garden gives good time for each one. I'm not sure the LA will actually attempt to cover all of One Piece. Oda had a shorter plan for one piece originally...maybe we see that come out in the LA and it does something like 5 seasons

I wouldn’t mind whiskey peak being merged with reverse mountain in some way for this order 1- Logue Town / Reverse Mountain 1 2- Reverse Mtn 2 / Whiskey Peak 3- Little Garden 4- LG 2 5- Drum Island 6- Alabasta 1 (up to casino or ace) 7- Alabasta 2 (up to Luffy hook) 8- Alabasta 3 (finale) I also don’t see why season 2 wouldn’t be able to do more episodes since a majority of the season takes place in one location but I get it

Lougetown is way too important to skip. Its Roger's execution story, Smoker's and Dragon's introduction, as well for Buggy's and Alvida's team up that will last throughout the series ( they are only apart, during Buggy's time in Impel Down). I dont see, how can they just skip this arc.

50 minutes for reverse mountain would be crazy. They can easily combine reverse mountain and whiskey peak and have one episode for loguetown.... but watch them spend 2 episodes in whiskey peak or little garden. In season 1 they also dedicated 2 episodes to the worst arc and didnt even manage to flesh it out enough and then had to cut important stuff everyhwhere else

Its really funny that you say you are a One Piece fan yet you confidently made this video saying which episode will cover what "arcs" when there is so much for them to cover that is important that there is no way the will finish the Alabasta arc by episode 8. If anything they could maybe finish Drum Island and that's pushing it. Rushing it will make the show make no sense from them just jumping around from place to place when so many characters are introduced. Another thing is that Oda is not a screen writer but a manga writer, he has stated that he has no idea how to do live action and these people HAD to convince him that what they are doing is how you translate Anime into Live Action which is just embarrassing on their part that this is what we are getting. They stated that they are staying true to the characters and source material but if that was the case then season 1 would have been very very different.

Nami sick With the defeat at Little Garden Nami turning ill and arrival at drum 6. Drum Island With Nami getting cured by chopper and choppers backstory 7. Rainbase With arrival at Alabasta meeting Ace briefly and gettong caught by croc alongside smoker endedby the flooding room 8. Arubana Final fight directly in the grave with all other fights to prevent the capture of Vivi Sprinkled in in all episodes 1. Smoker and Tashigi chasing the crew and learning that not everyone hissing a pirat flagg is necessaryly a bad person 2. Escalation in Alabasta according to weather and Revolution caused by crocodile

Oda shouldn't even be here... That man's health isn't that good as it is, he shouldn't be holdin' the showrunners' hands to approve everything on the other side of the globe. The story is there - just FKN adapt it! HOW HARD CAN IT BE?! But they race-swap, swap out *NARRATIVELY IMPORTANT* pieces of story for some *MUFUKN FILLER BULLSHIT!* I watched the first season - begrugingly - but I'm not sure I wanna dive deeper if they omit important parts and race-swap EVEN MORE characters. And yes, it is important how they look, because nobody's Michael Jackson - you just don't swap out your entire color palette mid-life! That ain't happening! Black to white, white to black, to asian, to goddamn red blue or purple! A character should look how it is supposed to look, *GOD DAMMIT!* If they made Smoker black and eat chicken wings instead of smoking cigars then that's character assassination. In regards to the One Piece manga, the source material, there is no unimportant piece of dialogue, no scene that is unnecessary... And that should be kept in mind by the showrunners of a Live Action adaptation. Everything looks how it is supposed to look and what is said is waht is meant to be said. When you change things on a whim - make a white character black, or vice versa, make a male char female or vice versa, make a character's nose small, when he was inspired by Pinocchio (no, I ain't letting flat-nose Usopp go), any even minute change is jarring and unnecessary. Just FKN adapt this SHIT, Netflix. FFS. I know producing a TV series costs a FUCKTON (maybe shouldn't have thrown away money by making a SHITE adaptation of Cowboy Beebop and the Witcher, hmm? BOOOOO! I can't believe season 2 is only 8 episodes. Season 1 already cut a lot of important character development for people like Sanji and Usopp and they had less story to deal with. Now there's an even bigger cast of characters who will need to be fleshed out and entire story arcs will be condensed down to one episode each? That's just stupid. They are going to loose so much emotional impact by racing through everything. Season 2 is going to suck.

You know what I'm impressed that this Netflix adaptation of a ongoing manga / anime series is doing really well I'm not excited for the fact that they keep skipping arts and condensing to either two episodes or one not to mention giving characters storylines that were never Theirs to begin with even though the Creator is involved in the show I still think it's a big mistake to skip or condense major arcs and remove characters that's the problem with the Netflix show especially live action I believe that instead of 10 episode it should be 13 that way we can get way more of the arcs rather than convincing them into one or two episodes and as the show possibly could possibly get a third season or not I'm just not looking forward to what they're going to do with the effects and Fantastical characters and creatures that cannot be reproduced with simple effects and makeup if I make it to the Amazon Lily Arc and a condensed it I will not be happy about that

They might have changed the order of the crew stating their goals before logue town to make a cohesive end to season one but they by no means have to skip it now otherwise I'm fairly certain they would have just ended up showing reverse mountain at the same time but this is by no means an definite skip for logue town
