Ahhh, one of my all time favs from back then, and still one of my favs today too. ^^
This one went through a few tweaks since way back. For one, I actually took the pitch down a bit to make it more comfortable for my voice. Also, Josh had sent me a few notes about the lyrics, one about pronouncing a certain word, which I had never pronounced correctly way back then. Also did a couple of other tweaks too.

Ironically I had a significant loss from my life when I got to this part of one piece. Not like a death but very suddenly I had my life uprooted when someone I didn't want to be taken from me did and this song kinda at the same time reminds me of what happened with ace and with said person. It's just such a good song

For me this song hits twice as hard honestly. In January of this year I was just getting to this part of one piece at the same time I had a significant loss in my life. No one died, but I had to part ways with someone I was very close to and this song just reminds me of it, and what happened to ace and how I felt at the time all over again. It's just such a powerless feeling haven someone taken from your life so suddenly with no warning, its traumatic, but I got help after it and I'm making a new path forward for myself now. No matter what happens there's always a way to go on. Sometimes I listen to this song again and just remanence about it all. Take care of yourselves guys.
