I will reconfirm for you that Big Mom isn't a giant, but it's fairly possible that some mutated ativism of the gene that makes giants as big as they get could have surfaced in Big Mom's DNA. But she's too short to be a giant. Big Mom is almost 9 meters tall. To be an adult giant, the shortest canon height you can have is 12 meters. So, she's the biggest human in the One Piece world.

I love that moment so much though. It took me completely by surprise but with all of the characterization we've gotten so far it feels like it was inevitable. Of course Sanji found her eye beautiful. Pudding who had only ever been shamed for her "ugly eye" hiding it from almost everyone and only wanted for a fake persona or a power she may someday develop. Of course she would have her worldview shattered when a kind and honest man was genuinely enamored by the beauty of her eye.

Whole Cake Island is extremely dark hence why it has all the cartoony stuff to ease it down for a the target market of young boys in Japan. if you actually look at the manga panel where shes finished eating and thinks everyone left you can see the longs that the kids sat on have bite marks on the, and scraps of there clothes along with the table cloth in the background on the floor. also makes sense why the giant that checked on them ran away yelling that she was a monster. Plus the whole there cant be two of the exact same devil fruit users.

*Yay, he's read more Whole Cake!* Others will probably address it, but below is some stuff that Benny may have misread or misremembered, or that wasn't as clear in the manga as the anime. *No insult intended!* There are plenty of things I've gotten wrong over the years myself, even when I watched the anime. ;) If Benny doesn't care, and is reading this, he can stop. XD 1) Mother Carmel, not Mother Camel. Given how much she smokes, and "Camel" brand cigarettes being a thing, I checked the One Piece Wiki to be sure. I'm still learning my katakana, but seems like the name should be "carmel". 2) Big Mom's name is "Linlin Charlotte". That's why her kids have "Charlotte" as their last names as well. You can keep calling her Big Mom and we'll understand just fine. 3) Big Mom's parents are shown in the anime, and they appear to be regular humans. That she's giant-sized but isn't a giant is a plot point, I think. 4) One Piece's target demographic in Japan is - *I think* - why Big Mom eating Mother Carmel and the other kids is only "strongly implied" and not shown. I didn't catch on until this blatant one, but there are things even One Piece can't get away with showing or even just saying outright. An example from Dressrosa is that Princess Violet and Donquixote Doflamingo apparently had an "adult" relationship with each other (see the SBS of volume 83). 5) I believe Sanji's family is more Science Ninja Team Gatchaman inspired than Power Rangers. Gatchaman was adapted into English as Battle of the Planets or G-Force: Guardians of Space in English. 6) Yeah, seeing Capone Beige use his Devil Fruit Powers in this way was crazy. He reminds me of the "city formers" in Tranfsormers (like Fortress Maximus or Metroplex) or _some_ of the Power Rangers Zords. XP

I feel like Big Mom doesn't get enough credit for how evil she is because a lot of her worst feats are based on implication because they are too horrible to show in the manga. First, she's a cannibal, she wasn't aware of what she was doing but she did it. Second, she is a serial r@pist, how did she get all her husbands? Kidnapping, specifically for the purpose of having children. Some of the fathers may have consented but I doubt the kidnapping victims had a beauty and the beast situation where they were allowed to warm up to the woman before she assaulted them. Third, she does not allow any of the fathers to ever meet their children, which is cruel and damaging to the father and the children. We see in the relationships of some of her children a need for a strong father figure, with one older son forcing himself into that role for a sake of his siblings. Fourth, she is negligent towards her kids and when she is involved she is often emotionally abusive to them. Fifth, she very nearly murders her son Moscato for simply trying to prevent her from killing people during one of her tantrums. She took 40 years of lifespan from him(considering he is 40 years old that is a lot) and never returned it nor regretted her actions, it is actually the other children who have to go behind Big Mom's back to return his lifespan to him in a blink and you'll miss it panel. There are some seriously evil and powerful One Piece villains but for me she most fits the term "Monster".
