i love watching one piece panels! seeing the voice actors finally get some love for their hard work will always be so cool to me. a lot of them have been voicing their characters for more than a decade but only started to do panels together these recent years, i look forward to seeing them do more.

i love the english dub, it's so fun. i decided to stop watching it in english sub when i was like 1/3 of the way through wano because the visuals were just so pretty that i had to rewind too many times because i missed them because i was looking down to read the subtitles. i'm so glad i gave the english dub a chance. although i love the japanese version as well for sure, i definitely feel more connected when i watch it in english. watching it in english not only lets me watch what's happening easier but it also makes the jokes hit better when i can actually understand the words that i'm hearing; same goes for emotional moments. while yes the japanese voices can be better in some emotional moments, it's literally the same for the english. i don't want to even compare the 2 because both have their strong and weak points, honestly. i just want to express why i enjoy the english dub because i've witnessed so much hate for english dubs and it's really frustrating when these actors are putting their heart and soul into it and people won't even give it a chance. i watched gear 5 in english dub and it was a blast. i was shocked at how good both luffy and kaido's voices sounded. like, holy cow, i didn't know kaido could even sound like that! and luffy's voice was so freaking good too, oh my gosh. anyways, i started rewatching the entirety of one piece but in english dub this time, and right now i've made it to skypiea. i haven't skipped anything. once i get to the point in wano where i originally switched to english dub, i think i might switch it to japanese so that way i can have experienced one piece in its entirety in both languages. :) i've grown so fond of both the english and japanese voices and they've been so inspiring and have moved me so much
