Geez, you really get around to some really beautiful places! I wish I had the time, opportunity and stamina to see some of these places with my own eyes...I'm jelly. Also loving you serious face 😁

It isn't a big hike. You would find it a big adventure. But it is only a 2hr walk in and 2.5hrs out. The hut is really nice too. And some of the scenery is breath taking. Hoping to get the full adventure out soon, with waterfalls and shots around the hut. Thanks for your support and feedback :)

Yep good mattress, the newer model is even lighter and deeper. I wish I hadn't blown it up by mouth and used the special 'dry-bag-pump'. The first time I used it, it was like an electric blanket - crazy warm - still good now, but not as good as it was... Much cheaper than the rest too.

Campbell, pack and camera you're using looks great. Any tips there?

Pack is fantastic: Osprey Exos 58. Really light, comfortable if your load is less than 16kg. (It will carry more but the sweet spot is 14kg or less really). As far as camera goes, I used a bunch of different ones on this trip. A little super cheap Action camera (But now have AKASO BRAVE 6+, which is better), A Nikon D5600, which I borrowed, but there are other better cameras around at that price (Panasonic G85), A Panasonic TZ80 (Get a TZ90 with the flip-up screen for bugger all) AND my phone a Huawei Y9 (Probably less than $300 now). I'm currently looking to upgrade my video equipment.

@@actstuntcam thanks! Looking at an Osprey based in that. You travel light - nice one!

@@kiwirayda3154 I would travel lighter, if I went on a diet and lost 10kg LOL. At an unfit 50yrs old - travelling light is a must :) Thanks for taking an interest. So much good cheap gear around now. Not the Osprey though - that was pricey. But it is good.
