@@onepocketagameofcontrolled3646 you're welcome, thanks for the reply. Any videos or tips on holding the cue (with the back hand)? A few wks ago I started playing again after 16-17 yrs. I was once a B player (mainly 9ball & snooker) but since I started back I keep second guessing some of my fundamentals, mainly how I'm holding the cue...should it be held (throughout the stroke) slightly in the fingers, or more with the palm touching the butt of cue? Or is this completely a personal preference? My stroke is a little inconsistent from what it used to be. Any advice would be truly appreciated.

I don't do videos which focus on fundamentals Derrick. There are several very good videos on that subject so there is no need for me to contribute my thoughts on grip, stance, or bridge. I direct my videos to One Pocket strategies and shots I believe my subscribers will find interesting. I do offer lessons in my home here in Delray Beach, Florida. If you ever become interested in coming to town for lessons look me up at trwirth369@gmail.com.

Thanks for showing there are no limits...and some of the best shots are learned by accident. Therefor there are no mistakes....just learning experiences.

I saw the first shot both offensive and defensively also ., my only questions that determine my selection would have been what does my opponent need and the race and so on both shots offensively are extremely risky but the thought of hitting the second ball to fat or 2 thin would always force a safety or a 3 rail shot ,,,,,,,,,,,, and also be honest and tell me how many times you set that up in order to have an advantageous outcome .

As I said at the beginning, I needed both balls so my opponent needed only one. As far as the number of attempts to come up with an advantageous outcome. I the first case I shot it several times and I rarely had a poor outcome. I shot it several times because I wanted to demonstrate the shot by pocketing a ball. In the second case it was pretty much the same thing after the first two or three shots. I had originally only thought of playing it the first way and then it dawned on me that the shot could be played both ways. Many times through experimentation new ideas form. That happened here.

I saw the first shot straight away... but I would have played safe for fear that I'd hit it like the second shot. I definitely need to practice these type shots to strengthen my end game. And yes... I have your book, but I have not worked all the way through it. Will you attend Derby City this year? I met Steve Booth last year, and I'd like to say hi and thanks for your videos & book in person if I get the chance. Happy One Pocket!
