Alright, so I think enough time has passed since 2015 for me to finally cover this track in full. TBH, Jon utterly DESTROYED this song, and that was one of the main reasons I stayed away for so long. The dude made the quintessential version of the song that, honestly, had no equal............

MrMilktray Man Lots of training. I believe Caleb has 8 or so years of operatic vocal training. Hell, even without that much training there are exercises you can do to help your voice reach those heights. Just note though, if it hurts, look for a different approach because you're doing it wrong and could mess up your voice for good

More Tenor than Baritone, I agree. Jonathan's was amazing, but his tone was a bit low throughout the song. That's assuming he was trying to mimic the original exactly, which he might not have been

@@wes8440 that doesn't make Caleb better or worse than jonathan. It maybe makes Caleb's version of this song better, or perhaps more accurate? If that's what you're trying to say. Personally in general I prefer Jonathan's dark vocal tones over Caleb's bright and whiney tones. Though to be clear I love a lot of Caleb's covers and that's not a slam against Caleb. Caleb's awesome. Whiney is just an adjective for vocal tones. And it works well in this and in his cover of megalovania. But for say hellfire, between jonathan Young's cover and Caleb's, I vastly prefer Jon's. His voice just works so much better for it.

Hey, Caleb! I've been a fan since 2013, and have introduced many of my friends to your awesome covers and voice over the last few years. You've done so many covers from so many genres and you're pretty much my favorite artist on KZbin at the moment, equaled only by Mr. Young. So when you both collaborated on certain covers (You know the ones, Mr. Hyles), I was absolutely astonished. Blown away, even. Now, this might strike you as odd, as I'm not sure you've realized, but it's been at least seven months if not more since you covered Fallout Boy in any form. I was hoping you would perhaps cover Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, by Fall Out Boy. And hey, if you manage to convince Mr. Young to cover it with you, well, that'd just make an already amazing song simply brilliant in its resplendence.
