Looks cool, but that pricetag. On vintageking it's already listed at $850. You can get almost any new MPC for less than that and they have all those features plus VST etc. Especially with the MPC 37key coming out for $900. That'll be a hard beast to top.

Very interested in this. I'm a big fan of samplers, they give you that gritty feel to a sound when you sample from a different synth. The fact that it has proper MIDI DIN connectors is also a big plus. Hoping the price will be in the ~600 dollar range.

It is odd that no one had thought of such a product/sampler "all in one" before that would do exactly those things and which was missing from the actual market! Anyway, for the price of 600/800 Euro, the possibilities, the technology it contains and the materials it is made of, it is practically a gift compared to the Vongon Replay, which for a higher price manages to make the same sounds as a fan organ from the '70. 😂

@@synthsamuraiproductions they have moved the Wofi on a lot in a year but it still has the hipster centric lofi focus. There's another interesting french synth from cyma forma called the ALT. not sure if it's at this show but it will be at Superbooth Berlin

Just guessing but they probably had noise issues with the USB power supply when they were SAMPLING into the unit. Once you couple more devices to a unit, you introduce more opportunities for ground loops. Because otherwise USB powering really is not an issue. Also, audio over USB to your DAW can be 100% noiseless because it's just a 100% digital transmission. The problem is mixing digital and analog.

Let me ask you a quesiton. I got a moukey mixer to add more ins to my behringer mixer. Its has usb power. When i plug that into my comp the usb cable for power is creating noise. U think cable is jacked mixer jacked etc?

So it's not quite granular, but has ease of use with cloud capability. I guess it's quick for getting samples in there you can manipulate. What's the polyphony and rear panel connectivity? 16 steps on a sequencer is a bit paltry though... I'm now thinking 64 is paltry 😅 i will say for what it is, it does a lot. Maybe they'll add more steps. Ive heard mpc is hard to program but I've also heard wavestate is hard. Wavestate only took me a few weeks then i didn't forget it after i learned how. I can see though how people who don't wanna ... who just wanna get in there and make sounds would have something ready to do that with this synth.

Way way way way easier interface knob per function. MPC is a puzzle and needs hours and hours of time to understand and use properly this seems like a child could figure it out first try. Is that good bad i dont know lol.

OK, people!Judging by your comments, for which I am grateful to you, this tool is easy to operate at the cost of mpc and blackbox and a child will figure it out right away with minimal diving.So it's just an expensive, beautiful children's toy for a child. I am also a child, like all musicians I love the new product. But will anyone change their mpc to this tool? I'm not

Those Hexagons on the sides are for the internal speakers. The 3 hexagons on the left are the internal mic. Now, look here Vongon! This is how you do it: BLACK lettering on a WHITE synth. Easy, yes? Now then, it's a sample playback machine. Cool for those who compose with samples, good for firing samples live too. But that's it. You get more or less the same thing from a SonicWare offering. However, the Woofy seems to be very well built. Seems fun. Not for me, though.

Sonicware are cheaper, though, and have more and better features as far I can see. I don't know how sturdy they are, though. I'm kind of interested in the Mega Synthesis, I like it being a self contained chiptune groovebox, but I do a different kind of music (with totally different workflow), I would end up not having the time to play with it. Still I would like it, damn it!
